My wife and i are in the Talks into moving to Tennessee from Wisconsin. Clarksville keeps popping up on our radar. Not far from Nashville is what we are looking for. Great review.

I moved to Western New York a few years ago and now things have happened and I am wanting to move to middle Tennessee to reunite with a long lost love of mine. I am pretty broke and i don't drive at the moment. He is in Robertson county. Where should a woman like me move to? I am 38 right now and I am retired.

The place is packed with people, violence is WAY up and there is nothing to do. Everything feels the same. Also, god forbid you live near tiny town rd… traffic is horrible and they keep deciding to build more and more houses and townhomes. There is always a new liquor/vape shop, nail salon, car wash, church or storage unit place opening up too.

Just found some lovely homes around Cookeville… very close for $225k to $250K price range. Here where I live in Chelan, Wa - I cannot find a decent home under $600K

@@wheretolivenashville - Thank you, I sure will! Somebody in the comment's section of another "Why you should move here" youtube video was posting that the homelessness and drug addict problem is getting bad in Cookeville this last year. Is that true? I think they were making it up to try and keep people away.

People who lived here when it was a great place to live hate what it has become because of the absolutely insane influx of people. Every time you blink a new apartment complex is going up and traffic gets worse and worse. The roads haven’t gotten bigger so we’re just cramming more and more cars on the same bottlenecks. People once moved here for a certain charm that has disappeared due to more and more people moving here. If I sound bitter it’s because I am. I loved how it was here. Now, I just want it to go back to how it was.

The "STRANGE" thing about Bellevue isn't a "LEGAL" city!!!!! It is only a zip code "37221" with the name "NASHVILLE" attached to it!!!! You will never see the town of "Bellevue" on a "LEGAL" map of Tennessee!!!! Never travel around Bellevue when it's raining!!!!! Major flood areas because of the "RIVER" surround the whole city!!!!

Clarksville used to be a nice place to live. I've been here for 13 yrs and the people recently moved here from last 5 yrs have trashed the city. There's a murder here everyday. It's riddled with the fentanyl epidemic. Important things these people refuse to mention. Car break ins and theft is huge here as well

I was born here and have lived here 34 years Cookeville is ghetto as f***and you're just showing a small portion of it

Even the “Clarksville Now” app, never lists the adult life that IS happening. Not to mention they miss out on listing some good eateries. Come to think about it, that app seems to promote left leaning ideology in its podcasts…can we not get a “podcast” that doesn’t have some underlying manipulation double speak and just talk about what’s going on?! We need the Bar Rescue treatment

June Lake will be a 20 year development. The last I heard was the grocery store should break ground in 2025. The interchange is open and there are people who have already moved into Saddlewalk. June Lake will be a work in progress just like Westhaven has been over the last 20 years. Great question!

Why does Clarksville suck? Traffic is bad here in Clarksville. Is it Atlanta Bad? No. Is it DC bad? No. Is it bad compared to other cities of 100k - 150k people? Yes. Why? Because it is growing and it is growing fast. And when the city and county governments plan to do road expansions they plan based on the needs of today. So if a two lane road needs to be four lanes today, and the city is still growing, guess what? By the time funding is found, studies are done, designs are complete, land is acquired and construction is started, Those 4 lanes will not be enough. No foresight. Developments are being put in on those two lane roads faster than the utilities are being upgraded and they cannot handle the demand. Companies are being brought in for jobs jobs jobs! But they are all just "Living Wage" jobs with no chance for advancement. Expansion is everywhere in this city. How can you tell? because there is fresh concrete dumped at almost every intersection every morning. C'mon Clarksville, start holding these batch plant company drivers accountable...even if they are your good ole boys. And that is the root of what is wrong with Clarksville. It is run by the good ole boys, for the good ole boys. Old tobacco farmers with the land and their developer buddies are in cahoots with the contractors and their city council buddies. The developers don't want the expense of sidewalks so...no sidewalks. How about that big apartment complex off Exit 11. It was in the county which required approval from all the surrounding neighbors before zoning could be changed. Every neighbor voted no. What to do? Annex the land to the city where no approval is needed and turn your developer buddy loose!!
