I wonder if this song is true. I could just imagine Gregg being on a bus and trying cheer up a broken-hearted girl. From what I've seen, he seemed like such a calm caring guy. Never a mean word to say. It would've been great to see him during this solo tour.

I totally agree with all. I came to be on Nov. 9, 1951. I'm still digging all of the music of my generation. Warren made a genius move putting Gov't Mule together. Charlie made another putting the Smoke together.

I looked through the comments and you would never know that Robertson wrote this song. Sure Danko sang it perfectly; and Helm was integral to the sound of the band; and there never was a singer better than Manuel; and the musicality of Hudson will never be equalled; but without Robbie they were great separate talents. He made The Band more than the sum of its parts.

These two make some serious music together. The interplay at times is sublime, nary a cross note. Warren plays his ass off then comes Derrick. Susan is surely learning from masters., though she is a master vocalist in her own right. That was some fine video making ! Pro grade.

Slow burns are great. Must admit I'm biding my time for solos. Tempo change and sax took me by surprise.
