Ok, but notice how the video is basically only clips from the second half of the first season and the second season. They changed their animation style halfway through the first season, you can tell. I think they were using rigs for a while and changed to rigs and hand drawn or maybe full hand drawn?

rise is my favorite turtles series PURELY for the animation alone.

This is one of the best animated shows from a western media, and seriously needs to come back for more seasons! (originally, it's 7 seasons). The movie sets good precedent for a third season set after it, so we can see the Hidden City in Japan and Riseverse Usagi!

Despite having no investment in the franchise, I got into this show because of the animation alone. I have _never_ seen 2D animation that is so consistently comfortable with using forced perspective, even for things like grabbing a slice of pizza. It's actually insane.

The animators for Rise are the same animators for Monkie Kid. And I didn’t even have to google that at first, the second I saw the opening song, I knew they were the same people.

This show literally has one of the best animation I have ever seen so whoever says it’s bad can go suck a cactus and choke on it 🌵
