Nice - careful on Nuwall - I’ve just had a client contact me for a job a builder did - he did all the cladding with 3-4mm gaps and council signed it off but Nuwall have contacted and won’t give a warranty unless they are 1mm gaps! I couldn’t find the gap dimension in their literature but the builder has gone and shut down his company over it and it’s a bit of a mission now as it all needs ripped off and redone to get warranty. Keep up the good work and early starts! I need to get up earlier…

Love these day in the life man, dig all the content but for some reason these are my fav... This years goal is finish my full house rebuild, owner builder, 15 months straight between this and work so far, moved in a week ago, still have half the insulation, lining to go, outside bits and pieces, but making great progress single handed... Full subfloor, flooring, framing, roof framing, cladding, insulation, plumbing, cabling (elec), lining... 100 year old home looks modern and almost new now... South island, Westcoast... You're an inspiration mate. Chur 👊

Great work David, good tips and skills on the deck. I’ve always made up the stringers and holes first and then lifted them in place and drilled Into the foundation, but I can see your method of drilling first works great too, and easier to do solo. Cool stuff!
