27:41 can you not use galvanised hardware for outside, i know stainless is better but whats the lifespan on galvanised hardware outdoors being that high off the ground too?

Great work David, good tips and skills on the deck. I’ve always made up the stringers and holes first and then lifted them in place and drilled Into the foundation, but I can see your method of drilling first works great too, and easier to do solo. Cool stuff!

Am keen to understand how many years of building you did under a boss before you went out on your own. I am amazed that at your young age, not only are you running a business, but you are growing it. And then the knowledge and confidence to run a building site building someone’s dream home with all the pressure and problems and doing a quality job. How the hell did you learn how to do all that??

What an awesome comment ! I worked one on one with my old boss for 8 years! He was an amazing teacher. In regard to the business, I’m still learning a lot!

Hey David, you sound tired, and rightly so. Keep up the good management. Sometimes it feels like just trying to keep everything afloat and its a lot of pressure on you. Enjoy seeing how you're dealing with the different issues and all the work on at one time. We're only human mate so its hard to keep it all up in the noggin. Good work and looking forward to the next vid. Hope youve planned for good time off over the break.

Another great video from Wolf Builders. Loving the content and attention to detail David. Your boys have heaps to learn from you, hope they absorb it like a sponge. Keep up the great work. One thing IBS reckon is to keep a small gap between plywood sheets for movement - if moisture gets at the sheets from below the house and they are bone dry, they can uplift at the joins. We leave a little crack gap and use Gorilla grip when we do it. Keep up the hard Mahi! Chris - Spot on Building

😂 you where on point Owl, you said, we don't need any float's for this job. I assumed you meant Bull float etc? Your just gana use a magniusm trowel to tidy up. You can use a Maggy only doesn't seal the surface as dense as a trowel but will be all good in your situation 👌👌💪💪

Amazing video David, I'm about to be signed off my self, I just completed a 54m2 steel framed pool house / sleepout in parklands in Christchurch, with metal roof and cladding with hidden fastenings, with Thermax thermal break in-between, it was a real learning curve for me, as I only had a second year apprentice to help me lift and clean, and my boss overseeing and signing off the build, your video's help me understand each stage your attention to detail along with you taking the time to explain step by step how you problem solve has been a real inspiration and I just want to say thank you Reply

I've had Aquaron 2000 on plans before as a waterproofing option. Pretty spendy though, and pretty sure you have to have the guys come and apply. I think you get it through Markham.

12:36 thats right water does sit at level, which means we dont live on a globe that spins a million miles an hour whilst going around the sun and the moon goes around us and then all the planets goes around everything else. In other words, the earth is flat...Just saying 🤔💭
