Allowing an inside the park home run to occur has to be utterly humiliating for the fielding squad.

When the girl said, “How would you pick me up?“ He should’ve said: “Like this.” And literally picked her up over his head.

It's an odd question, one unlikely to have been posed to you at that age, but have you ever heard an explanation or developed one as to why you somehow triggered the Gay Male Female Icon of Faboulousnessity ? The "Beaches" movie, for any number of reasons, really hit a happy nerve for the Gay Make Demographic. Perhaps you and Jim Parsons had that discussion, i'd bet almost certainly. You and Marcie Leeds, the girlhood version of the adult characters, seem to connect with Gay Male Boy Types, e,g,: either like Anderson Cooper or Andy Cohen, the yin-and-yang of identity, and what seems often how girls themselves can be, outlandish free-spirits or quiet, prim mannered girls. And that you played the girl versions of two of the Gay Male Female Icons, Midler & Hershey, might have cemented the deal. Just a Sunday-night musing.

I was at this game and stayed through the end. Mo Vaughn caught a bunch of flack from his teammates for not coming out of the clubhouse to join in the brawl. He claimed he was too far away to get there, but i distinctly remember how long it took for the bullpens to show up for the brawl.

I live in Daytona and remember it well. The girls were so beautiful with nice clean non-tatted up skin. Back then the only people with tattoos were some military guys and most bikers and criminals. It was a time when people respected their bodies instead of turning them in graffiti walls and billboards.

This was the game I lost all respect for our savior and big sign, Mo Vaughan, who did not join in the scuffle with his new team. I spoke to Percival 25 years later at a fund raiser and brought up this game. He said "Let's just say he ended up in a locker with half the team trying to get me off of him"
