After having this in my youtube playlist for years I only just noticed that there was a download link in the description, but sadly it seems like there's nothing in the folders on the Mega link provided. Was it taken off at some point? Kind of a shame, I really love this remix.

Thanks for bringing this to my attention. It seems that Mega deleted all of my files because I hadn’t logged in for a while. I was able to get all of the files restored so the link should now work. I also uploaded a small bonus file with a new B-section I added to this track in 2021 (I always felt a little something was missing from the track). You’ll find it in the BONUS folder. The original file name for this remix was Walk In The Woods, which funny enough is a completely different track from the halo soundtrack. I’m not sure if perhaps I originally planned on making a remix of that one, or maybe I just misremembered the track name when I went to save the project. I wasn’t able to export a proper mix of that version due to some old plugins not working from the original project file (you’ll hear one of the bass parts is missing), but nevertheless - hopefully it’ll still be enjoyable. After what feels like an eternity I’m getting a new music workstation computer in about a month, so will full steam ahead will some new halo remixes and perhaps a full updated version of this classic! the meaning of making a remix is to move parts of the song without modifying its structure or rhythm, this song changes the entire structure and rhythm of the original

dbzwarrior4321 I did not lol, just found a random photo at the time shortly before uploading. Shame that the gearbox port wasn’t up to par. I watched a video not too long ago detailing the differences. Even the Halo CE: Anniversary edition on Xbox is based on the gearbox port as well. The original game exists only as the original release.
