I had the immense pleasure of meeting Barry and had many hours of conversations with him and his wife but mostly Barry. As we spoke, he was humming out music that seemed to emanate out of thin air and into his head and lips. What an incredible genius with an incredible sense of humor. I will never forget those times.

Nobody could have composed a more beautiful, soothing song than this one - except maybe the Bee Gees, themselves 🥰. The Bee Gees are the greatest songwriters and lyricists I've ever heard or "heard of." This is a great example of the hard work they put into each of their songs with none of the brothers being able to read or write music. It shows how the guys could develop a song and discover the notes to be in "harmony" with each other in the final cut. I love these guys bunches, and, will always love them. BEE GEES FOREVER ❣️❤️❣️

i remember seeing this. i was 11 years old at the time.

They were sued in court for stealing the music for this song that another person had written ©1975. In the end the person could not prove they stole the song.

Everyone who worked with Barry at this time, Karl, Blue, Alhby say it was simply amazing watching him creating songs in real time, sitting on the couch playing the guitar. For this one he had heard this in the middle of the night,,called everyone over, he and Blue started the session and a song came into existence.

I don’t swear, but holy sheet Barry. Can you imagine him walking around down the street? I’d be turning my head and turning around and going ‘gah’. He’d totally see me staring at him and I can totally see him smile knowingly at me. Sweetly, but at the same time it saying, yes, I know I’m gorgeous. He had to know. He probably looked in the mirror and said Wow, Barry, you really have it made. He oozes confidence, even in the way he moves and carries himself. He knows he’s kissed by the gods. I would’ve had such an immense crush on him back then. What the hey, I do now. A crush on a guy in the 60s who was the same age as my future mom. It really is so, so, so tragic that I wasn’t alive and older and didn’t know him back then. Barry’s beauty is incomparable. I even love to watch the way he walks and moves. I’m sure I wouldn’t have been the only one staring at him non-stop. How could anyone see anybody else in the room but him? He practically glows he’s such a god.
