Dont feel bad, this one confused the shit out of me too, i had to cheat to finish it back in the day. It gets a few points for its' atmosphere, vistas and the nukage pools in that one room. And of course, it loses a few hundred points for that invisible linedef crusher room bullshit. Do the math.

can you patch the same rom repeatedly or do you need to always patch a fresh smb rom? i'm guessing you need to supply a rom to patch to use level headed?

I think you need to patch a fresh rom everytime.

Some rooms are compatible with others, but it's rare that that's the case. Always double check.

From what I remember, you use the rom and i set everything to random except the lives are 5 i think the default was 7 and just held down enter until generated 1000 of these

This might have maybe been the first third party WAD I ever played - I don't remember it well at all other than the distinctive use of red lights on both floors and ceilings. It was packed on a PC Zone cover disk (issue 15) with DEU. They announced a competition in the same issue, with the winners announced in issue 19.
