What a moron -- seriously --- Pertussis vaccine is just a complete failure - also DPT is shown to kill more infants than it helps per PETER ABY study... You can use lots of immune boosters to not get pertussis -- I walk all around NYC use the subways and have NEVER BEEN VACCINATED OR HAD THIS .

You have not addressed why the vaccine used to be more effe give, nor the issues of the mutation to para-pertussis, which is not covered buy the vaccine. We need to do the proper homework of testing cases to see which version of pertussis is causing the problem.If it is para-pertussis, it is very wrong to keep increasing the doses of the old vaccine if the mutation is the main problem. To recommend vaccines in pregnancy without testing for longterm safety is irresponsible. Effectiveness is only part of the issue.
