that's weird, sometimes I have to change the value twice but it eventually works whenever I do it also I found out that changing the long boxes doesn't work from what I've seen so I think you have to change the short boxes for it to work.

How to change the tempo?

To change the tempo you can inspect element the slider and find the max of the slider and set it to something like 9999. Then you can change the tempo to anything you want. Keep in mind if you set the tempo too high the sound completely breaks
