I feel so sorry for my American neighboors. They are not equiped to deal with a snow storm. Even if i am used to this (living in Canada) i wouldn't drive without snow tires.

That storm was NOT destructive. It is the people that are (a) to stupid to slow down and leave extra room for others to screw up and (b) too cheap to buy REAL SNOW TIRES. All season radials are NOT real snow tires.

remember, when it is snowing heavily, dont use headlights, rear wiper or rear defrosters, those are only safety features and not required to drive. those warnings to stay off the road? only applies to other, but best to put on your weather hat and have your cell set to video then drive anywhere

I live in northern BC, Canada 🇨🇦 I am accustomed to winter driving, I can tell you that I would never knowingly travel during a freezing rain storm. Listening to your authorities if you value your health and life.
