WHY ARE YOU SHOWING THESE OLD GAMES THAT SHOWS CLOSE AND SOMETIME LOSSES OF OHIO STATE UNLESS YOUR A HATER OF THEM? I DON’T RECOMMEND YOUR VIDEOS TO ANYONE. YOU MUST BE A MICHIGAN FAN. MR. Mac FAIL

Jensen for 'Nova was such a flopper whiner. it worked though. A lot bad calls from the refs on MD. The G.O.A.T. Len Bias! Rollie vs "Lefty" - HOF coaches! Jay Wright joined Rollie's staff the next year, '87.

This 1999 Duke team was better than the 2001 Blue Devils team that won the National Championship!

When the announcer says, "Atlantic Coast Conference basketball!" the closed caption on my screen said, *"A planet called conference basketball."* I guess you could say the ACC was a world unto itself in the '80s! 😄
@brianarbenz13294 ай бұрын
Since the regional TV network kept getting TV timeouts given to them, it is obvious the stall went against the interests of broadcasters. That's probably why the shot clock was added.

The announcers are Jim and Bones. So does Bones say, "Damn it, Jim!"

There is no football helmet anywhere--high school, college or pro--that is nearly as UGLY as Maryland's helmets! UGH!

LEFTY & MARYLAND SHOULD HAVE WON VS N.C.STATE , PLUS HE SHOULD HAVE WON SEVERAL OTHER ALMOST AS IMPORTANTGAMES OVER THE DECADES . HE ASSEMBLED REALLY TALENTED TEAMS BACK THEN .

THIS IS JUST WHAT I THOUGHT , THAT VILLA NOVA WAS NOT AS STRONG A TRADITION IN THE OLD DAYS . THEN THEY USE THE VAST CROWD TO MAKE IT TOO STRESSFUL TO CHEER FOR U-M WHEN YOU ARE TOO OLD TO TAKE THE STRAIN . I SHOULD HAVE PULLED FOR GEORGETOWN INSTEAD OF VILLA NOVA WHEN PATRICK EUWING WAS PLAYING .

Bias was a phenom. Such a tremendous talent gone way too soon. We can only vainly imagine what he could've been for the Celtics. Mark Price was awesome too!

Many don’t remember Rudy Archer and Steve Hood..as Hood transferred to JMU, and Rudy well we know with ncaa infractions.., Always felt coach Wade was asked at the wrong time to turn the program around after Len death.. Coach Wade many thought coach Morgan Wooten should have gotten the job, coach Wade was just as good of a coach as coach Wooten… Dunbar was a heck of a HS program!

Even to this Day I feel the same in my opinion Maryland was not the better team in that game at all at the time ?! IF only we had Will Kimball in this game because we had him it would’ve been a big help Jon Tofi 6’8 240 would’ve been more rested because he played the whole game without any rest literally so in my opinion ?! Who remembers Will Kimble 6’10 240 from San Bernardino, CA native mean 😤🤬 power House would have been on this team that year, we would’ve beat up Maryland in the middle talk about memories

I was there and it was an electric atmosphere. Maryland fans being less than nice. The neutral crowd got behind UNCW late in the game. A fun game nonetheless.

Could you imagine if there was social media in the late 70's when Carolina was just holding on to the ball seemingly forever. This game along with the 1982 ACC Tournament Final caused the ACC to experiment with a shot clock

This team had so much potential and little consistency. Should have been a top 25 sweet 16 team. Losing DJ hurt them, Ogelsby doesn’t go off with DJ guarding him.
@Weare3018610 ай бұрын
I always felt like LP never played with consistent confidence to why in my opinion he never reached his full playing potential. OB inside was always doing too much that he played forced basketball instead of it coming to him. Stokes reminded me of a shorter Keith Gatlin at the point.. not flashy but steady… think he also played QB on the football team…
