Yeah I've heard that a lot from others, that why I was surprised I didn't really feel that comfortable on the druid compared to the dreadnought. Maybe I'm just used to burly long travel bikes nowadays!

It's good fun, definitely worth a check out. There's a variety of different level of trails so you should be able to find something.

Yeah the first part of the trail in the trees was hardly ridden I was sure I went wrong and then I really didn't want to die on Avalanche! 🤣🤣 Yeah really enjoyed 3G, good challenge but nothing trying to kill you.

Yeah indeed, nice to have a bit of flow in Banchory. Same build team as Tarland (CRC), they definitely have a style to their trails where you can tell you're riding one.

Haha, that's what we were being told but I think that day was a bit wetter than usual as quite a lot of water damage around especially in the car park.

We decided to do two days at BPW so we could ride all the trails we wanted, without running out of time, which I think was the right thing to do. I'm sure we'll eventually go back to Wales and try all the other amazing spots!

Yeah purely depends on snow conditions. A few days after this it dumped snow and quite a bit was open, apparently it was really good but it didn't last too long.

No worries, let me know how you get on! Yeah probably similar level to Masterblaster at the moment but will get slightly trickier as it gets rougher. The two difficult bits have alternative lines so you should be good.

Nah there was multiple slopes open on this day, some on either side of the road. But it all depends on snow conditions on what they can open.

Hey, I mount the GoPro upside down on a chest mount with a wind muffler. Basically go as new GoPro as you can (Except I think 9 where you can't replace lens, they screwed up on that design), ensure it has waterproof housing as part of the camera and not a bracket otherwise noise will be bad, there not to much difference in price between the second hand ones. Make sure it has SuperView or wider views as you'll need to wide angle to see as much as you can. I have the new hero 12 with MaxLens Mod 2.0 which makes it super wide but if you check out my videos from a year ago you'll see roughly the angle you'll get with any GoPro newish.

Only real snow resorts are in Scotland I believe.

There aren't any in Ireland.. only a dry slope in Kiltiernan co. Dublin

I believe this was with it off, I prefer it off as looks a bit more natural, on makes it looks very much like a gimbal but there's not a huge amount in it until larger angles.

Yeah was a tricky one in the conditions! Definitely a challenge after riding lots of flow trails recently! I think Underdog at Golfie was the hardest trail I rode this year!

Thanks, wouldn't guarantee the path has been fixed even after all this time, it could be even worse to be honest with the recent years of weather. I would worry about running out of battery and the pushing parts with a heavy bike with the route I did, check out the Stava link. Other eBike videos on KZbin always go straight up and down so that would be a safer option for sure to not have these issues.

Yeah it was partly Boneyard onto partial of Black Sheep. With the storm damage all the original trails branch off into each other now for sections.

Yes, haven't figured out the exact route yet but will likely contain most trails.

Yeah the storms did a number on that trail, quite a bit steeper now with a couple of questionable drops!

The route I followed was just the standard Black route that sign posted all the way in Glentress. It's on all the maps of the area.
