I got a 125m but the shifting is seized and I’m going to have to rebuild the entire engine😊
@imperfectfarm343629 күн бұрын
The engine and transmission are one unit. But you can work on the transmission shifting without taking the engine apart. Mine had a stuck high/low shifter so I took it off and cleaned it up and it now shifts between high and low.

I got rid of every one of those stupid gas cans like that and went back to the old ones. They spill less.

How does this compare to a 50cc brush cutter? I am really considering this type of mower for efficiency but something is holding me back. Will I be able to push it on rough terrain or does the terrain need to be flat?
@imperfectfarm3436Ай бұрын
I push mine over rough terrain and it works well. There have been a few times that I could see a self powered one would be nice, but then you get more cost and heavier to handle. I don't have much that is flat and even around here.

Bought one this year... Starts easy, trims well, and has enough power to do what I need it to do. Paired with my Stihl fs56rc, my rock pile of a yard hasn't defeated me, yet lol

ibve got that almost exact same one, but it is a bit older, and with a viper 150cc engine, so a teeny bit smaller, but it runs great and I love it. Hope you do too, what is ur 11 month follow up?

Id recommend using the old carburetor if you still have it, just buy carb rebuild kit. Not sure what carb you replaced it with but them Chinese ones never last long.

P.O.S. 💩Mine is less than 2 Years old. It died already !! It has barely been used. Airing up tires, or using an air tool on occasion. No more than a couple of times a week. But not overworked by any means. Very disgusted with my purchase !! As I know, I spent at least $250.00 or more.
@rickdavis474017 күн бұрын
Per manufacturers procedure.... 30 min break-in is required. You open the drain & let run for 30 mins. Its a necessary step on any NEW compressor for longevity & efficiency reasons. Alot of people miss this crucial step & kill their unit prematurely
@a.c.m.e.ink.456816 күн бұрын
Just an update. Mine did have the break in procedure, according to manufacturer specification. It made no difference. Well, some time passed. I needed a compressor. Harbor freight was running a sale on the 3 gallon model. So I gave McGraw another try. It died within a week. No more McGraw for me. Their products speak for themselves, in a bad way!

I've had the same compressor for a couple years. I attempted to expand the capacity by adding an ~15gal second tank to it, and think I damaged the pump in the process, as it seems to build pressure more slowly even with the onboard tank; so my assessment is this compressor is near it's max operating duty cycle just by filling up the onboard tank.

You can’t put your weight onto a battery saw while cutting, like you can a gas saw. That’s when mine “ over heats “ ( actually it just overloads the draw on the battery forcing a shutdown to save the electronics). It’s best to have a fresh file on the chain and then almost let the weight of the saw just do it’s thing. My 80v saw’s cut times are double what my 45cc gas saw’s cut times are. But for quick limbing jobs or cutting anytime you don’t want neighbours , or anybody for that matter, knowing what you’re doing battery saws are awesome.

Be careful operating around loose wire. It can violently pull the trimmer from your hands with enough force to break an arm.

is this face mask a mandatory when you use EARTHQUAKE trimmer? Just asking for a friend...
@imperfectfarm34369 ай бұрын
No, however I have had bad grass allergies and the mask helps contain some of that. I actually just mowed today with my zero turn and wore goggles, hearing protection and a mask. I probably looked like an alien but with being end of season it kicks up so much dust that it creates a dust cloud.
