Amazing lap man, im not one to give advice but.... Try staying more consistently tucked in the straights and try really hard to master the acceleration in relation to the apex of the corners. At the start of the lap you were kinda pacing the other guy, it would've been better without him there because you could've taken his place for the better turn into the corner. Nice bike too 🔥🔥

The nice part about that turn is if you just let it ride out, you get pavement again. So just stay off the throttle and brakes and you’ll be fine and can rejoin at a different section of track.

Love the Vid... What Camera are you using? Do you have any specific settings? And what software are you uploading it to? Thanks for the help!
@TrackDayJunky6 ай бұрын
Camera is just a GoPro Hero 11 with an ND filter on it. This one I forget to actually change to the activity settings I have so this was just everything on auto 1080/60. Since its all GoPro, I just add the sticker overlays for speed and track maps in the GoPro app and then export. I overlay lap times and commentary just using Davinci Resolve. I usually do a couple small tweaks int here to bring colors and sound into typical broadcast levels but Im not expert there. Then just render it there and upload. RaceChrono also seems interesting though for pulling more telemetry out of the GoPro and may start playing with some of that.

Any mods to your idle? Ecu? I have an 08 with -1+2 gearing and motion pro quick throttle and the initial throttle is extremely abrubt and difficult to be smooth with. Im sure less gearing or if i raise the idle it would help but this bike isn't the easiest to do that. Thoughts?
@TrackDayJunky6 ай бұрын
The gearing does change for me quite a bit depending on the track. I do have an ECU flash done through Woolich software that KWS installed. They do killer work and it does smooth things out over the entire rev range and adds a little up top as well. Do you know which motion pro throttle tube you went with? I did go with the progressive throttle tube since that does smooth out initial throttle application. If you just did a linear quick turn throttle it might cause it to be a little more twitchy on the throttle.
@Naptownstreetsquid6 ай бұрын
@@TrackDayJunky I've tried a few. The orange one I did run originally. I think im gonna try to raise the idle a little and possibly drop a tooth or 2 on the rear. Bike is noticeably slower than other bikes but handles and brakes beautifully.
