The books will be available in text, audio and video to take care of all learners including those with disabilities.Students workbooks aligned to the textbooks will be available online. The books will be reviewed online every 3 years to take care of the emerging issues and how learners have performed in the continuous assessments and final exams as well as advancement in knowledge and discoveries. Teachers and students will recommend new learning activities online for use in the next review of the textbook. In the past students have lost alot of learning hours due to sickness, pandemic,school strikesand natural calamities. Overally, the app will reduce the cost of attending school in Kenya and if adopted by parents it will reduce the cost of implementing the CBC curriculum.The CBC curriculum has been accused by parents of being too expensive. The KISWATE Digital Academy App will create more job opportunities for teachers who will need to embrace technology such as working on the cloud and use of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning in the CBC curriculum implementation. Students will have alot of hands on activities that will enhance creative thinking in the digital space.Students will work in groups online, take a video of their hands on activities and submit for grading through the app. The KISWATE Digital Academy concept if adopted by the Government of Kenya may give students the flexibility of choosing the mode of learning as face to face, hybrid and online as is the trend in the job market globally.
