1 av dom bästa scenerna i HELA film-serien. Älskar Olsen-Banden sedan jag köpte & kollade in Boxen våren 2019. Blev genast ett stort fan & sen dess blev jag en danofil. 💙

I'm British and prior to reading the TV Tropes page that linked directly here, I'd never heard of the series, and I've gotta say, this is a very impressive sequence. And it's not the 1812 which is a refreshing change.

@@tjudiUnder the page for Olsen-banden: Mickey Mousing: Invoked in one of the most famous scenes of the series is in "Olsen Banden Ser Rødt", in which the gang breaks into the royal theater of Copenhagen while the orchestra is playing (a rearranged version of) the Overture to the Danish national play "Elverhøj". As the break-in requires many noisy tools and explosives, Egon has brought a note sheet so that he can time the crime perfectly to the music so they won't be heard. It's quite brilliantly done. At last, a literal case of Orchestral Bombing!

Sjovt nok lignede min morfar Theodor utrolig meget også med navnet Bent. Han virkede også så mild og rar som Theodor, men i dag er han desværre gået bort i en alder af 95.

As a kid me and my sister constantly acted out this scene with any orchestra music we could find (mostly brahms and beethoven) what a glorious movie. My sister even learned some danish (though I cant speak or write it)

Hey there - same here. I used Chatpgtp & Google search and it took me at least 2 hours to find this movie - had forgot the name but remembered that it was Danish and had this legendary scene that I've now watched for the first time since 1976 🙂

@@mortenchristiansen4331 Yeah, but I just can't believe you can fit 23 bombs in 8 holes. Also, there's a moment where one of the criminals activate the detonator but nothing explodes.

The timing it took to do this was pinpoint. While the conductor was conducting, the Banden were conducting their own accompaniment.

Olsen Banden, Elverhøj. Jeg glemmer den ikke, ville bare høre om andre har det ligesom mig!? Specielt den sidste del, skulle den havde været vores nationalsang? Jeg elsker den vi har. Men det kan diskuteres. hør sangen til ende og giv din mening! Jeg bør komme i "den gamle filmskat" Jeg elsker alt i denne kategori. og som andmelder er jeg både ung, men har også set alt siden Dirch var sort/hvid. mm. Blandt andet, den første film jeg forelskede mig i var: Don Olsen kommer til byen! pragtfuld film, som jeg stadig ser. "Hurra for de blå husarer" Frøken Nitouche osv. Men glem ike sangene fra filmene, de er stadig hver at høre, selvom de bliver, overspillet på andres copy album. Søg efter det orginale please!!! 🙏 En god start-up sang, ville være SS Marrta. eller hvad du nu føler for, der er så mange at vælge imellem. Jeg synes bare det kunne være sjovt at se/høre andres valg af musik i de gode gamle film!?!? 🙂
