Lol, never seen a pentastar dry start after 130k on the engine I see. Come listen to my Jeep JKU, sound like a sewing machine for the first 2 seconds after hitting the key. Looking for solutions. Some dumb ass decided to rely on close tolerances during engine development to stop drain back. Fine, you made it out of warranty by a safe margin. I have a very well cared for Jeep that I ran premium synthetic in for its entire life and drives me nuts to hear start. I use the correct filter too.

On paper gasket from 1990 aluminum oil pan. Did the entire engine block side get sealant over the paper gasket ? Or just sealant at timing chain cover?

80 to 90 percent of engine wear occurs at startup. So, flow is just as important as micron size. Pushing for a lower micron size requires more restrictive medium thus reducing flow..A white blood cell is 25 micron. Your engine, you be the judge.

Just purchased MIS20135 Intake Manifold Gasket set with Valve Cover gaskets. PLEASE PLEASE label your bags of O rings and extra parts with a description. Took me an hour just to Google everything by part # and I still have 3 larger, loose rings that I'm not sure what they are for.

Should the blower be positioned after the filter?

I have a 91 f150 4.9l that I want to change the water pump on, I saw a video where he advised using Permatex high tack gasket sealent to hold the to gasket in place, is this a bad idea? Anyways I plan on using a very very lite layer of this stuff just to help hold the gasket in place.... Thanks for the video.

the m54 rings were sprayed with a graphite type coating that may be why you feel more tension from that one over m52tu

This machine if pure GARBAGE. Extremely slow, yes you have to fill the tank externally but it’s not stored on board. I did several evac, vacuum 10min, leak test 10 min and recharge. Took 1hr 10 minutes. The. To evaluate the lines tajes the machine another 20 minutes

So, lets say I run cammed alumin heads tri metal is good. Next how does that affect oil weight? If it called for 5-30 a 10-30 ( to keep the bearings wet when the engine is shut off) maybe even a 15-40 (its never below 40 where I live) and I drive hard

Before buying this machine, I watched KZbin and saw how to use it. There was no step to add compressor oil, but everything was set up automatically, so I thought it would happen automatically if I put oil in the machine, but that's not the case with this machine. Is there a model that automatically adds compressor oil? Or do all these new machines have to add compressor oil manually? If all models add oil manually, why did they make the entire process automatic?
