Great review! I just took this flight two weeks ago and had high expectations considering their good reputation, but I must say I was actually quite disappointed. The food was not good, and the small cold meal before landing was not enough for a flight of this length. The inflight map didn't work, and the temperature of the cabin was way too hot. The service was professional, but the flight attendants seemed fairly cold. The best thing about the flight was the legroom. I was not looking forward to my return flight on United via SFO but I must say it was a much more pleasant flight than my ANA flight, which was a complete surprise. The food was better and we were given two full hot meals and a mid-flight snack, which is way more than what we got on ANA. The service was better, the IFE was far superior, and the cabin temperature was much more comfortable. The legroom of course wasn't as good as ANA, but it was still respectable. Overall, I feel ANA's economy is overrated, based on my own experience.

That's like Spirit Airlines... I never minded their Boeing 767s but their A320 family is super tight and uncomfortable.

Fantastic trip report. Liked and subscribed. Your seat offered a good wing view. To be honest, I have high expectation for ANA's catering service, so when I see a meal box was served for breakfast, I feel a bit let-down. The first meal was tasty though, as always

Not trying to be rude by any means; however; we all know what a toilet looks like on an airplane. Try to capture something more interesting next time. For some reason; EVERYONE who does these trip report vids shows us the bathroom. Other that; I enjoy your filmography!

These aircraft are too small and craped for long haul flights, those seats will kill your back on flights longer than 2hrs, better off on an A220
