Thank you very helpful! I wish Hobonichi would drop the quotes from the planner and let us have the space.

May I ask why you have washi tape on the barrel? Just for looks? Or for a functional reason?
@charettebyreddog2477 Жыл бұрын
Not long after getting the pen I torqued it too tight when screwing the barrel back on and cracked the barrel a bit 😜 I was able to wind the washi tape around it tight enough so I could still screw it back on and it would stay lol! It actually worked for a couple years but eventually had to throw it out as the crack progressed.

Looks like there's inconsistenct ink flow
@charettebyreddog2477 Жыл бұрын
there sure could have been. I filmed the writing almost immediately after filling it so likely didn't have time to flow through the section completely. It's also a fine nib to begin with. I've been refilling the converter consistently over the last two years and haven't otherwise noticed problems with flow. These are cheap pens though and I have had to replace this one due to a cracked case near the threads on the body.

Actually you can buy the clear cover separately, so you wouldn't have to buy a standard and a biz version to get a clear cover for the biz. 😊 Great video, thank you so much! Very well structured, in depth, and just to the right amount. So helpful to see the both next to another. Also with your zooming in and back out and fast forwarding - top! 👍 Would you consider making a video about the lite version? Colourwise it is like the biz but way less in your face and it also has some other differences. Would enjoy watching you going though it. 😊

2022 was my first year using Jibun Techo, I got all separated, the clear cover, Idea and Life book and the Bizz diary, because have better quality paper. I use the structure of the Diary to my schedule and the Idea fo my journaling, which has very good paper quality too, specially because I just use differents typer of Foundain Pen on my Journal. Thanks for you Video.

Hi, is it possible to fit 2 a6 notebooks + a weekly supplement into the hobonichi a6 cover?
@charettebyreddog2477 Жыл бұрын
Hi! (2) A6 notebooks are just slightly thicker than the A6 techo which means the weekly supplement will slide into one of the cover's flaps just fine but it will be a bit thick and the cover might not close all the way when laying on a table. Optionally, the weekly supplement does also fit into the exterior pocket (if you have a cover that has one).

Thank you for the feedback! I purchased a full year Cousin for 2021 (after making this video) and the full year Cousin does slide in...but it's completely maxed out the cover. And the strap used to snap it is really tight. It *could work however you would NOT be able to use any stickers, washi, or anything that would bulk it up. So...I'd say it's questionable lol!

I’m in Australia. You mentioned your friend was thinking of opening a shop or already has one. Can you please provide details? I’ve had the Jibun techo for two years now. First year B6 slim 3-1; second year decided to try A5 slim. Both the coloured versions. Biggest difference is the weight! That really surprised me. Given that my Jibun techo goes everywhere I go - that has now become a deal breaker. Going back to b6 slim for 2022. But was just trying to decided between coloured or monochrome. Thank you for your video!

Hi! She hasn't been able to get it off the ground yet unfortunately. I had emailed Bunbougu a couple weeks ago asking if they'd be carrying the Jibun techos this year and they said to look for them mid-September so hopefully within this week we'll see them listed!

Well thats one way to get around the stupid price on a preppy converter why pay for a 11 dallar converter wich is worth more than the pen when you can just refill the cartridge or turn it into a eye dropper

You're going to love your 5 year techo. I got mine last year, as 2020 was supposed to be a memorable year (and it was, just not for the reason I thought). I absolutely love it. And it's more fun the second year because you can now begin to look back. The hardest thing for me is to shorten my day's entry to make it fit. But then again, that's what my regular journal is for.
@charettebyreddog24773 жыл бұрын
Thank you! I have been really enjoying it and am actually amazed that I have been consistent with writing in it every day thus far! Touching upon your comment about shortening the entries, I totally get that! I do more in depth journaling every morning in another book where I can just write and write, and what I'm finding is that it's actually nice to transition into the A6 after doing my main journaling and focus on two or three sentences to sum up the day. It's meditative in a way. It took awhile to get used to the process but am finding it works nicely. I am also glad I got the A6 and not the A5. As you say, I am excited for next year when I can look back as I write each day's entry.
