Was just pondering to myself if I could use my biscuit joiner to make recessed handles on a batch of cutting boards I just made. Thanks so much for the video as now it saves me the dialing in process!

No, a fix it dad it someone who fixes it for you. You didn’t have a fix it dad. Sure, he fixed his own problems, but not yours. You had a great dad

How strong are these joints? Could someone actually sit on it?
@cosmiccreativ
@cosmiccreativ 3 ай бұрын
VERY STRONG. Biscuits + resin is nearly unbreakable! If this was a wood waterfall, the wood would fail before the bond! MAS has tested.

My dad thought me and my siblings how to change oil, tire, what fluids go where in a car. Before we got our drivers license he would have us go through how to do it (oil was just explain how to do it if it didn’t need changed yet). Also whenever he was working on a project if we wanted to help/learn he would do so. I learned how to lay flooring, paint walls, put up tile, put up a wood wall, and much more.

This comment section is chaos and oddly sexist. Anyways, don't let anyone tell you what you should be, or what you should/shouldn't know how to do. If my girlfriend wanted to fix the car I'd bring her lemonade and sandwiches lmao

It takes a log time to become a fixer of things. Be patient if you don’t have a dad it takes a li g time or KZbin. The past KZbin not the censoring of nazis of today.

Before you start making assumptions about me… It’s a shared workshop that I’ve paid to be a part of as an alternative to not having my own machinery. Bye.

You just gotta wait till the resin is about halfway set. It will be thicker and will hold the swirls

Why tape them, do they get stuck a certain way if you don’t? And what is the block, wood?
@cosmiccreativ
@cosmiccreativ 3 ай бұрын
I tape them so I can easily separate them from the resin! They’re just squares of melamine that I’ve aggressively wrapped in Tuck Tape.

Glue first, then screw. No need for clamps that way. Also, drilling pilot holes for the screws will releave some of the pressure that caused the wood to split like that.
