If there is one thing I can appreciate is the characters don’t look ugly like for example the baker in hello neighbor 2!

Wow, so far, this game LOOKS extremely different and unique compared to everything we've gotten, almost like it's a completely different series. I will say, I'm not a fan of the character models, they look really cartoony in this almost realistic looking game.

Personally, not the biggest fan of the jump to the future since theirs not much story to be told at that time, im also not a fan of it due to HN2's ending, we'll probably never know what happened to Quinton. I also dont want to sound too negative or petty but, im also not entirely the biggest fan of the character designs since the style is very far from the actual HN style especially with one being gray and another being purple, but I guess it's not a big deal, game looks very promising so far though so hopefully everything goes well.

Better Act 2 Concept: Cutscene: After Quentin gets knocked out in the museum, the LayoutV2 cutscene plays, then Quentin gets up. Gameplay: Go outside the cave and do the Raven Brooks Forest gameplay. Cutscene: After the mannequins resembling Diane and Mya hug Quentin, he faints and wakes up back in the Raven Brooks Banner. Quentin hears a knock on the door and opens it, revealing Beatrix, his sister that went missing years ago. Beatrix shows Quentin her name tag. He gasps and takes out a picture of him and her. She nods and they hug. They finish hugging and Beatrix does the beckoning sign. Gameplay: Follow Beatrix to the Mayor’s fountain. Solve the symbols puzzle and climb down the ladder to end up in the sewers. Cutscene: Quentin examines the corkboard, which has pictures of Mr. Peterson’s luck device, the Golden Apple Amusement Park, the observatory, the Raven Brooks Station of Weather and Meteorology, and Roger and Adelle Peterson. Beatrix grabs a coin with a golden apple inscribed on it and examines it. Suddenly, the Guest bursts through the hatch and chases them. The unused Guest chase track plays. Gameplay: Run through the right tunnel, take a left, then a right, head to the hatch, and climb up the ladder. Cutscene: Quentin boards up the hatch with the hammer. Beatrix holds up the golden apple coin and points to the Golden Apple Amusement Park. Quentin nods and Beatrix puts the coin away. Gameplay: Follow Beatrix deeper into the forest to reach the Golden Apple Amusement Park gates, which are locked and need a key. Go to the Golden Apple Candy Factory and scare off the vandals and find five golden apple candies and drop them into the melting pot, where there’s a sign that shows a golden apple candy with “5x” next to it. Once all the candies are in the pot, they will melt and form a big golden apple candy. Go back to the gates and give the golden apple candy to the crow holding the key in its beak, and it will drop the key, grab the candy, and fly away. Grab the key and use it to unlock the gates. Enter the amusement park. Cutscene: Quentin examines the big wall and gets an idea. He points to the Rotten Core roller coaster track, which is broken at the end. Gameplay: While avoiding the Guest, go to the workshop, which is in the same spot as the security office from Hello Guest. The door is locked and needs a key. Go to the rifle range and scare off the vandals and win to get the key. Bring the key to the workshop and use it to unlock the door. Go inside and find the grapple gun throughout the machinery, tools, and blueprints. Go to the supermarket and grab a generator and two wires. Go back to the amusement park and enter the electrical room and place down the generator. Plug the wires into it and connect them to the power circuit. Power will be restored to the park. Use the grapple gun to grapple onto the roller coaster tracks and walk to the start. With the power on, press the red button on the control panel to start the ride. Cutscene: The roller coaster car starts moving and it falls off the broken part of the track and crashes into the wall, destroying it. Behind it is the Raven Brooks Station of Weather and Meteorology. The Guest looks at Quentin and Beatrix and turns the machine on. The Guest strikes a dramatic pose and Beatrix turns to the observatory to see the Forest Protectors using the luck device in a ceremony. Quentin gets his camera and takes pictures of the Guest and Forest Protectors while the mayor, the baker, and the taxidermist are unmasked. It starts raining and lightning strikes right in front of Quentin and Beatrix, which explains the burning and destroyed houses and the big puddles in the secret Patch 9 photos. The Guest turns towards Quentin and Beatrix and chases them. Gameplay: Run back to the town, avoiding falling debris, lightning strikes, and fire. Cutscene: The storm is dying down, but the town is on fire and destroyed with puddles everywhere. Quentin and Beatrix approach Leslie Kornwell. Quentin hands Officer Leslie the picture he took. He examines it and gasps. He points to the now destroyed Mayor’s house with missing posters of the mayor. Gameplay: Go to the Mayor’s house, where the lights are now powered by generators, and go down to the basement, which was hidden until the storm broke the ground to reveal it. Open an old picture to reveal a keypad with a 16-digit code. There are old pictures around the basement with dates on them. Piece together the dates and put the code in. A secret compartment will open, revealing plans to strengthen the storm. Grab the plans and bring them to Officer Leslie. Cutscene: Officer Leslie examines it and does the beckoning sign. Gameplay: Follow Officer Leslie to the Raven Brooks Police Department. Cutscene: Mr. Peterson comes into the police station, and everybody turns towards him. Mr. Peterson hands Officer Leslie a picture of the Guest taking Aaron. Officer Leslie examines it and nods. He points to the observatory on the map of Raven Brooks on the back wall. Quentin, Beatrix, and Mr. Peterson nod. Gameplay: It’s not storming anymore. Go to the observatory and use the crowbar to get the boards off of the door. Cutscene: Mr. Peterson sees Aaron crying in the corner. Aaron looks at Mr. Peterson and they run to each other and hug. The Guest comes from the right side and three Forest Protectors, which are the mayor, the baker, and the taxidermist, come from the left. Gameplay: Run back to the town. Cutscene: Officer Keith and Officer Leslie see the Guest and the Forest Protectors chasing Quentin and Beatrix, so Officer Leslie arrests the Guest. The Forest Protectors surrender, and Officer Keith unmasks them. He shakes his head and arrests the Forest Protectors. The Guest shapeshifts into a crow and flies away. Officer Leslie nods at Quentin and Beatrix, who nod back. Quentin sees Mr. Peterson and Aaron hugging. Mr. Peterson nods at Quentin and he nods back.

they really better serve this game perfectly baked. I had to read 12 books and watch many videos to actually understand the lore. I am so lost. They ended HN2 on a cliffhanger and now it seems as if its a whole other story in HN3.

I don’t get why tinybuild creates new games and then publishes them unfinished to work on 5 other different things. Like we didn’t need hello engineer, or hide and seek, we needed an actually finished full game

But at least Hello Neighbor 2 wasn't as poorly handled as Security Breach.

They should release a mod kit for Hello Neighbor 2. Even the modders are keeping this franchise alive with their unique mods and even one of them is based off from an unused random generated house idea from the Hello Neighbor kickstarter. Poor Guest, he was basically doomed from the start.

Let's be realistic, Hello Neighbor 3 is just another attempt from TinyBuild to cut money from fans. I am 90% sure that this game will repeat the fate of previous games in the franchise, an explosive start, a change in the course of development, a failed release. In addition, even if the release of hello neighbor 3 will be good, how can we be sure that hello neighbor 3 will not repeat the fate of hello neighbor 2? I don't know about you, but personally I have already lost all hope, I am tired of another disappointment, I am tired of losing hope once again, I am tired of another hypocrisy from TinyBuild. I just don't want to get involved in all this hypocrisy anymore.

It's been a good run on Hello Neighbor 2 but I'm very sad, but i'm excited on hello neighbor 3

I won't be refunding hn2 because: 1)I preordered the game and steam has the 2 weeks 2 hours rule 2)I want the developers to have a budget to make hn3 good.

I agree with this so much, Alex’s time will come eventually, but hopefully things don’t go bad this time round, I won’t refund HN2, but I believe we should at least get the game for free or just get a discount when HN3 releases

0:40 promises are still promises that’s what build trust in a community and a stunt like this might make people lose trust in tiny build

Listen, I’m a massive hn fan for pretty much all the wrong reasons, but even I’m burnt out of this company and this franchise. I’ll play the hn3 alphas (and there WILL be alphas cuz people won’t pay to see if hn3 is even worth it) and if the alphas ain’t good then I guess it’s time to leave hn on a speed road for a car to hit it
