Anyone remember playing the second missile side challenge to get precursor orbs? Where this time you lead the missile to the fallen Palace section. Being a kid at the time I remember I did it & expected it to be an open path once you completed the mission since you literally blow up the palace debris. Then I went & checked to see if it was opened but just got the precursor orbs & was met with the section being blocked by the fallen palace again. Wishful thinking as a kid but would’ve been awesome if you could explore the ruins of that section. Since that’s where the barons statue was with the tomb of mar & access to the green zone & yellow zone in Jak 2.

Playing Jak 3 again on it's 20th anniversary and this is the best track in the game. Brings back so many memories

What I love most about this is how it takes the original Haven City theme and turns it into a dirge. That opening drone is POWERFUL. You can truly feel Haven's destruction here, like the very soundtrack is weeping for the fall of the city. Happy 20th birthday to one of my favorite games ever.

It's gorgeous but it's just not the same without the ocassional "Aaaaaaaaaaa" of accidentally sending Jak plummiting to his early grave.

2:01 The most melodious part of the song, the whole song communicates how hard life has become since Jak was banished from Haven City, but this part always hits my heart hearing the strings orchestrate like this
