This is wonderfully spoken. I think this resonates a lot with me, and sounds very close to what I believe in

Is there an fully length video? Like with music as if I would be attending? And are you planning to upload something every week?

Define sacred - define liberalism does that include transhumanism ?
@rogerforsberg39105 ай бұрын
A very astute question, Mme, and one that those historical worthies who originated liberalism from the ferment of the European Enlightenment, Scottish Enlightenment & English Enlightenment, i.e., John Locke, David Ricardo, Adam Smith, J S Mill, Wm Hazlitt, F-M de Voltaire, S T Coleridge, John Bright, Richard Cobden, etc, might not have had any immediate answer for. However, Friedrich Nietzsche might have an opinion -- were he still alive.

As I listened to the sermon, the thought came to me spontaneously: no man has ever spoken like this man. Thank you, Reverend Schwartz.

Apologies! I had the stream showing the wrong source so the camera feed cannot be seen until about the 11:43 mark, toward the beginning of the chalice lighting. - Michael

I just watched the streaming of Lisa's memorial service. I want to echo the sentiments of JP. I feel very deeply for each and every one of her family. We, Nancy and I, will miss Lisa very much and we send our love to Dylan, Josh, And Art who so sensitively honored Lisa.

My Mom grew up in Hanska and her/my ancestors helped found the Nora Unitarian Church. Many family members, including my Dad, are buried up on that hill. My aunt wrote about the rich Scandinavian and musical history of the town. My uncle once said something like, "I'm glad I grew up as a unitarian because I wouldn't have been smart enough to find it on my own!"

It was not a total eclipse in Colorado-- many of us traveled to the path of totality. Even though a partial eclipse of the sun is nice, there is a world of difference between a partial and total eclipse. I urge the younger folks in the congregation to view a total solar eclipse whenever you are able!

Thanx, Henry, This is the first time I have gotten my computer to work in years, Mebby I CAN find a way to communicate with folks again, somehow. Even my phone sometowns works. Good to hear Nina Simone's words, as well. I met her first at St. Jude's in Montgomery at the end of the March, when Harry Belafonte organized the concert. Next day we marched the final 4 miles to the state capital, ]where Martin preached his, "How Long ? Not Long ! " message to the world. That night as I was driving a group of 8 Blank youth back to Se4lma, we got derailed up to Hwt 41, near the river, where I thought the next road block was going to "disappear us forever. Turns out they had already killed Viola Liuzzo. I did not know, for I fell asleep on the floor behind the diaz in Brown Chaple Church in Se4lma for 36 hours. There are some photos of me in Montgomery w2ith Joan Baez & her little sister Mimi Farina, and one with Joanie & Cleve Sellars and Jim Forman. Thiungs got worse later that sprign & summer. "If WHite Kids Die," by Dick J Reavis tellos a bit of my story Whatever: we keeps trying. JUDY IS DOING BETTER LATELY IN COLO SPRINGS, SHE & ALAN DAVIS birthyday on Monday. Trying to get my fingers to work again, as before my spional damagwe. OIh, I got hit heaqd on by a truck on Saturday INTE3RTIONALLY, when bmuy bike spun out on the ice on 17the street, 1/2 block from my trailor. 5 witnesses, but this ia tRump America, Hit & run, of course, snow covered license place. I was hit pretty hard, but shouldered it pretty well. Destroyed my new E-bike. Dang !! I AM PRESENTINEG A BOOK STUDY GROUP AT UCC LONGMONT on "CHRISTIANITY & THE SOCIAL CRISIS by Walter Rauschenbusch: in the 21st Century, Commentary by Jim Wallis, Richard Rorty, Sister Joan Chittister, Bishop James A. this is one of the most respectful and kind sermons ive ever watched. its nice to see a christian church discuss trans people like regular people instead of calling them 'the trans' or 'transgenders'. the bible and jesus literally say to love everyone no matter what and i feel like you expressed all of that so well. this is the side of christianity that needs to be put on display, not the bigoted and those with hate in their heart. the bible never says not to be trans and i believe that repressing or ignoring your internal self will only drive you away from god. god wants you to be the person he made you to be and when someone is trans, that is an obstacle that god gave them to bring them closer to him and have a space to be themselves. thank you for educating people on things that christians often ignore or condemn. keep doing what youre doing man.
