How can we get an accurate report of medical bias if everyone is bias. The person reporting is bias and the person recording the info is bias.

Guess this implicit bias has something to do with the fact that all the founding fathers of the United States were of European descent. Same sort of thing applies to Asians, I'm sure, in all the countries that Asians have founded. If people of European descent are living in China, for example, people of Chinese descent are definitely not thinking Chinese = White.

Good video, you could've made your point clearer by saying that the idea is to shift your thinking of a threat that induces anxiety into a challenge that can be dealt with.

Duscressionary right of judges are meant to accomodate the nuances of the case. I dont feel thats a blind spot or necessarily the Anchoring Factior at all. Still good advice.

The fact that they still ask for race is absurd. Humans didn't evolve in such quota systems against 300,000 years of not using them. These are limited stimulating techniques to shift a societal consciousness at best, not a solution for advancing humanity

I believe that another reason this bias exists is because traditionally, Black people are raised with a mindset to deal with whatever pain and suffering they have to deal with - whether through personal fortitude or leaning on religion - and not to depend on external systems of the world, in some cases "the White man" depending on how marginalized their personal background.

When group A commits violent crimes at a rate 6x higher than group B and the only known or distinguishing information is the group an applicant belongs to who would you hire? The applicant from group A or the applicant from group B? The first applicant could be amazing and the 2nd could be terrible but when there's nothing extra to go off of you are actively choosing a losing bet.

The solution? Allow or even facilitate for more granular information. You lose out on catching exceptions to the rule without individual information. Its always more advantageous to make decisions concerning individuals based on their individual data rather than relying on generalized group statistics.

You are getting much closer to demonstrating and describing the interpersonal and institutional mechanisms that give rise to social differences and unfairness in our lives. ("HEY!! YOURE NOT ALLOWED TO DO THAT! " Lol. "If they are suffering, it's because they're not working hard enough, don't give them any excuse to parasite off hard working Patriots."! Lol.) I need to know who did the research. I know there's racist people, but I have a hard time believing that they are giving different treatment to PEOPLE or none because of the skin color.

It's impossible for an individual going to see the doctor to know they are the "victim" if it's "hidden" in someone's mind. This is pure nonsense and another way to divide people by their race. Furthermore, if they truly felt they were a victim, because of race, they'd go see a doctor of the same race and take an active role of the skin color of their health care provider. Are you now going to give an excuse why a health care provider of the same race is also implicitly biased against their own race?@@mo-whack6790

So they didn't have women participate in the pygmalion effect? That's messed up because I wanted to know what the women thought. The sexes have both physiological and psychological differences from each other so they see the world in different perspectives. A part of that lies in biological evolutionary reasons.
