I’m replaying the game for the first time since I never finished it after getting stuck on a puzzle back in the day. Thing is, it wasn’t this puzzle, no fucking idea how I solved this as a kid, don’t get me wrong, I still figured it out on my own now…but I’m a helluva lot smarter now, and this shit was devious.

Back then when i first played this I was 12 and tried (never learned) to play piano. That's how i knew wich ones were higher or lower, then you got the color of the birds to match the notes. Pretty easy to figure out but hard to remember when you want to make it quick. Thanks!

This is an amazing puzzle, actually had to use a little brain power to put it together, can sleepwalk through most puzzles in games like this.

I beat his puzzle back in the day by using the dictionary. It showed me what number the keys were in I was blowing away it worked after spending weeks on it.

The hint the game gives you: "A Tale of Birds Without a Voice" First flew the greedy Pelican, Eager for the reward, White wings flailing. Then came a silent Dove, Flying beyond the Pelican, As far as he could. A Raven flies in, Flying higher than the Dove, Just to show that he can. A Swan glides in, To find a peaceful stop, Next to another bird. Finally out comes a Crow, Coming quickly to a stop, Yawning and then napping. Who will show the way, Who will be the key, Who will lead to The silver reward. Kids in 1999: ...well shit.

This puzzle and resident evil 3 gem stone clock puzzle made me go crazy back than, I was playing the 2 games together and I stuck on both of tham for more than a month, than I discovered the internet. What a good time that was 😢

thank you, because the "unauthorized guide" to silent hill had the order as 5,1,4,2,3 and i wasted like 30 mins punching the keys in the wrong order. i usually don't use cheats but the version i'm playing is in chinese.

A maior dificuldade ai é o inglês, até porque você precisa interpretar o texto, e não sabendo inglês fica difícil.

That was really sneaky and tricky and hard, but I cannot say it's totally unfair. Two mistakes I made: - I thought the blood stains locations are relevant. On the one hand, they aren't referenced in the poem, but on the other hand, logically, one would guess they serve as a trace to track which keys were pushed. - I overlooked "silent" in the poem, and assumed I needed to press the keys that produce sounds. Although the "silent dove" made me wonder it it was an exception, and needed a silent key. It turned out, all of them had to be silent.
