That top 8 put an insane gap on you and the riders behind! What bike and tires are you on?

0:20 - The only thing I would say about the rider in front is; He's lifting his butt too much, separating himself from the seat and the bike. This works fine when the aggression and lap times are slow, but will start to become a problem the faster he laps. The best riders slide from side to side, not lifting from side to side. Unloading the rear tire is a bad idea. So is creating a higher center of gravity. If you want to know the difference between the very best and the rest of the professionals, just look at Cameron Beaubier vs Josh Herrin. both very fast, but Josh will NEVER be as good as Cameron. That's because Josh has excessive body movement on the bike and that means he uses more time to transition from side to side on the seat. So he destabilizes the bike and loses lap time in the process. Cameron on the other hand, slides side to side and only hangs off enough to get the job done. Which means he spends less time transitioning and more time on the throttle.

What’s the purpose of the red cover on your Solo2? You break the threaded inserts or magnets on the back and need a new way to mount it?

Good job. But when you said expert I thought you meant ASRA / CCS Expert, so I expected you to be well under 1:30. Even in ASRA / CCS Amateur with 1:32 I was barely in top 5 on a ZX636. Now I am racing in expert, and if you want to be anywhere near the podium in the MW class you must do under 1:26. I'll be there this weekend with Evolve GT for two days. See how the new pavement is.

I’m down here right now with riders club. The pavement is good, it’s grippy. There’s still bumps in the old problem areas but they’re not as bad and they said they intend to reroll 1, 3b, 3c, and 12 I think it was they said.

@@TrackMedicBrendan Bumps.. on a freshly paved track. That sucks. At least it is grippy now.. o e problem down at least. How is the exit out of the chicane be for the wheelie hill? And how is the bowl?
@TrackMedicBrendan
@TrackMedicBrendan 8 ай бұрын
@@noseishin bowl is good. Coming out of 3c has a bump where the pavement lines meet. They told us during the opening week that once spring thaw finishes they’re going to reheat the track and hit it with another round of steam rollers. That should hopefully fix the problems.

Super impressive lap times , wish we could watch your body positions before corner mid corners and at corner exits. I am going to ride full track day at NJMP in April , so wondering if you can help me get ready for the day in terms of preparation. I ride Aprilia Tuono 1100 ,still contemplating whether to endanger the Italian beauty on the track or rent a track bike ?

On the straightaway laps six winds second gear out to 116 mph, so why was third gear ever used on any of the turns
@anonymous-tn6ij
@anonymous-tn6ij Жыл бұрын
And you shift into third gear after turning three to go to hundred max and then slow down to 70 why would a 1000 need third gear to go 70 or 100 for that matter unless your gears are crazy low

I could around that whole race in first gear only shifting to second as I cross the finish line to cross 100 miles an hour

Expert really I’m not seeing it. Why are you in turn four doing 48 miles an hour in third gear but in turn 1 ,2 and three you were doing about 45 mph in second gear and after turn four you have a really tight turn coming up so you should’ve been down in second gear still should’ve downshift and the second gear going into turn four and what kind of bike are you on that you need second gear to do 45 miles an hour My bike will do over 100 in 1st gear

it looks like its starting to drizzle halfway through paired with it being last session and the temp drop is big up north. and he on slicks. and hes on a 1000 so his could also do over 100 in 1st

Coming from my ninja 400 it’s so interesting to watch the different in strategy riding a 180 Hp liter bike vs a 45 hp 400cc. Seeing how he is getting the corner speed lower just so he can rocket out faster, vs trying to keep the speed up because I’m not rocketing out of anything

yeah, I used to ride CBR500R and it's much harder to get up to speed if you brake too much

I enjoy the track progress in the top left-hand corner of the screen, it adds oodles of depth. Also consider adding kph with mph for us folks not in Murica.

They’re not exactly bunched up it’s that we’re more or less running a similar pace based off the group we’re in . Until we get to the places where ours strengths on the track are different . That’s when you see separation

@@ia391racing nah I’m glad for this video. Peter Levins isn’t around anymore so I can’t see my body position. I needed this to see how I crossed up I am 😂. I ran a 1:37:64 on my aim that day. Hopefully if I improvement my body position and work on a few other things I can get that down lower. Good video.
