A chalenge to BD is to show a video of its new robot that doesn't look like a cheap 3D simulation.

You can tell by details in its small movements that it's real (and you can hear some mechanical/electric noises in original video I used for this mash-up -- the link to that is in the description). A lot of people thought the last gen Atlas wasn't real, and this special effects crew -- who one time made a very convincing CGI robot -- showed how it was real: kzbin.info/www/bejne/foKUiHifgtyJbbs

Just found this song. I'm a huge Ovlov fan and I had no idea about Pet Fox. This song goes so insanely hard. That chorus is insane <3. I'm hooked.

14 years ago, this was like yesterday. IMO the best all female rock band ever to come out of Boston. I do not think I ever missed a show.
@melodymatters Жыл бұрын
I'm not sure if they were the best ever, but at the time, I'd say they were. They put together the band as sort of a joke, quickly became really good, had that gonzo, fun, sold-out show at Harpers Ferry (pre-Brighton Music Hall) where the "opening" acts were put-together bands by each member, and then kind of faded off (which I think coincided with Waltham rock scene generally fading off). I think all this happened without much notice in the local news/music/arts outlets.
@johnro6659 Жыл бұрын
@@melodymatters I saw everyone of their shows and did a few New Years Eve parties they had with other Waltham bands. One at the Middle East and other at Harper's Ferry/Brighton Music Hall one other that I can't remember where it was. I follow a lot of local bands and really never saw another all female local rock band. Saw many female fronted bands. If you know one musician from Waltham you end up meeting them all. I had a friend Pat back in the day that promoted an all female rock band Lucky Lady. I only got to see them once maybe twice.

And this is my first taste of the new single Hazy Road, I have a gut feeling it’s going to sound more Americana or folk than trippy like this but maybe I’ll be surprised

Wow. Now this is what I am talking about with audio quality and quality video to go with it. I want to start filming bands like this also. Subbed :-)

Awww....mucho thanks, although this was a special case of extreme audio editing: the venue was not allowing any "professional" cameras to be brought in, so I brought my little Sony ZV-1, primarily just for photos. I do use the ZV-1 for video when I don't want to deal with my bulky A7S II, and normally use a Tascam TM-2X as the mic. Mostly out of curiosity, I thought to see how the ZV-1 with work without an external mic here and... it was very mixed. But that's one of the reasons we have computers.

I was convinced the studio version was an electric bass. Guess it was the organ. Cool song!
