Blades are nearly impossible to install. Been trying for about 20 minutes and it's like trying to string spaghetti on the thing. Trying to follow the video, but has a very monotone voice.

For my purposes there would be a lot of parts left over, lol. I don't need the base, the bags or the drum that holds the bags. All I need is the motor and the fan/housing. I'll be mountin the motor vertically so the exhaust shoots straight out instead of up and I'll be exhausting it through a straight 4" pvc pipe through my garage wall out the back of the garage.

Delta must have changed the assembly parts for the power box, I did not have to modify an Allen wrench for it, I was able to tighten it with a standard open/box wrench with no issues

I have one but the table when locked down moves out of square all the time. Anybody have ideas to make the table top stay firmly in square?

Nice to proper offset on clamps for optimal clamping force. Bolted down prevents squeeze lift of material

My saw must have been dropped in shipping. The legs would not go together so I had to cut relief cuts so they would align. Then I found the power assembly was not in the trunnions. Will have to remove one of them and then realign the blade so it is parallel with the guide. Great fun!

Is this the fix for my files I send to my CNC workshop and he always says the smooth objects are all rough and like a hexagon. Does what you show in the video help or fix this? It takes my CNC guy so long to manually adjust all the edges.

If you draw circles make sure that you change the number of segments your circles have, other wise they’re gonna be really rough

I returned the first one I bought from Lowe’s on June 28, the flange for the blade was put on the wrong side of the saw blade and was tightened down so the flange was press fit on the arbor when I received the saw, I pried the flange off of the arbor then assembled the blade, flange and the nut correctly but when I rotated the blade it wabbled. I called Delta and explained the situation to customer service and said I would like Lowes to come and pick up the assembled saw and exchange it for another one and Delta said to have Lowes return it to them and replace it with a new one. Lowes delivered the new one July 1. Lowes was very accommodating. I have not started assembling or checked out the new saw yet because of a medical situation. I will update my comment as soon as I verify the assembly.

The reason people cut an hex key is to modify their saw. In order to mount a router table between the rail extensions the spreader bar has to be turned upside down. In order to do that the carriage bolts between the front rail and fence guide have to be loosened, and that's a tight space. The alternative is to disassemble and reassemble the front of the saw. I agree cutting a wrench from a decent set isn't a great idea. However, being everything that needs assembling comes with hex keys, including this saw, I have no issue cutting one out of the junk drawer full of them.

I believe the people that have experienced issues with the motor are running it on a 15 amp circuit. I run mine on a 20 amp circuit and I've used it almost daily for two years. I built a box to fit between the rails to the right of the table. The top fits flush to make a wider table and lifts off to make a great storage area for pushers, zero clearance inserts, etc.

Static won’t move hence the name. It will help dissipate it from the object’s but you won’t be efficient enough. You’re better off keeping the worst machines as close to the extractor if you don’t want to be shocked. Great explanation: kzbin.info/www/bejne/r3KVY56Kqbtnjqs

Thanks for the video. I downloaded Gsender as I saw you doing tool changes following search. Followed all your steps BUT when it comes to M0 for the V bit, the program stops with the screen RESUME RESTART message but all functions, including MACROS are locked out. Can’t move X, Y or Z axis, run the Probe macro etc. Etc. I have to manually distance the V bit from the job then hit RESUME. Any ideas? UPDATE. I have changed the M0 to M6 in the code then in the settings changed Tool Change to MANUAL, and that works fine.

Hello sir nice video. I just started building mine. I’m stuck on the v wheels portion of the build video that sien I had online. Should the wheels move at all. In the video they say they should move a bit but no matter how much I move the eccentric nuts the wheels don’t move or is it that I’m tightening the screw to much. Can you please help thanks
