Great video guys!!! Quick question and I'm surprised no one has asked this. Perhaps I missed it if u said it in the video. But why did they not allow you guys as a couple to stay in the same room??? Was it because you guys wasn't married? My wife and I are going in July 2024.. we booked with tanzania specialist and they didn't say anything about us not being able to be in the same room
@angieandnate Жыл бұрын
Thanks! We went with the company EF ultimate break. I (Angie) booked the trip before Nate and I were dating. Once we were Nate decided he wanted to go too. We tried to room together but because of the number of males and females it didn’t work out. We were able to do some room swaps though with other members of our group at some of the hotels during our stay.

What’s the name of this place and do they have a BBQ pit ?
@angieandnate2 жыл бұрын
They did not have a BBQ pit but they had a grill and a fire pit. I don't remember the name of the place, it was a little cabin rental place in southeast Ohio. It had four cabins to rent of different sizes.

Curious which game drive location was your favorite and why? Thanks for posting!
@angieandnate4 жыл бұрын
Lauren Vallez good question! That’s a tough one. I think it really depends on what you end up seeing. I personally loved seeing the giraffes and elephants. While I still loved our game drive in the Ngorongoro Crater, there are no giraffes there or at least it’s very rare to see them there. I’d say I enjoyed Serengeti better for that reason.

Hi! Thanks for sharing your safari videos! I'm leaving next month to go on a safari in Tanzania as well! I happened to come across your videos since I'm in the process of trying to figure out what to pack! Just wondering if you feel like you had enough? And how was your experience? Any tips/make sure you bring this suggestions??
@angieandnate4 жыл бұрын
Richelle Stefko hi! I hope you have so much fun on your trip 😊 thanks for watching our videos!! I definitely felt like I had enough clothes. I personally burn very easily. So for me I wanted to make sure I had long sleeves so I wouldn’t have to use as much sunscreen. I will say having to lug the duffle and backpack around the airports was super annoying. If I packed again I’d probably do two backpacks to make it easier to carry everything. Try to stay away from suitcases because those are hard to fit in the safari vehicles. Overall the experience was incredible!! I’d easily go back to do it again 😊
@richelleleague50224 жыл бұрын
Angie & Nate Awesome, I’m glad you guys had a great time! I’m getting super excited! That was something I was going back and forth about whether I want to bring a duffel bag or not. I just ordered a camping backpack so I’m going to see how that works out and hopefully it will work as a carry on! Also I’ve heard that a lot of the camps will wash your clothes...did you find that to be true? Thanks for the suggestions!!
@angieandnate4 жыл бұрын
Yes I think most of them had laundry services. The camp we stayed at in the Serengeti had stuff to do your own laundry by hand. We did not use those but a few people in our group did. We did have just a few pieces washed at another hotel we stayed at though. We had to pay for that per item. So we only washed our plane clothes really so those would be clean for the ride back home.

Unfortunately, I do not have the contact information for them. It was set up through the travel company we went with, EF Ultimate Break. However, on Zanzibar, there are dhows all over! We literally walked right out of our hotel onto the beach and that's where they were waiting to pick us up. I'm sure you can find them all over the beach areas. Hope that helps!
