You exhale in default position, you should brace your core and hold your breath as you extend. He is doing the opposite , its not right (but its ok im gonna make it anywaaay )

I hated doing sharks in pe class with this but no I love the paracute very nastolgic! I didn’t feel comfortable people grabbing me by my legs and had to tell the pe teacher I’m not comfortable with it.
