I experienced 2020 The Great Covid War… does that count? I didn’t get COVID, but I got multiple organ failure, must mean something
@bestmovies-wg1rqСағат бұрын
Sounds like you went through a real ordeal. You didn’t get COVID, but experiencing multiple organ failure is intense. It’s definitely a challenge that leaves its mark-just like so many of us have our own stories from the 'Great COVID War.' I’m glad you made it through and hope you’re feeling better now. Take care!

all these movies and zombie movies keep harping on CDC. but what about fort detrick in Maryland, army premier counter disease center
@bestmovies-wg1rqСағат бұрын
That’s an interesting point! Most movies focus on the CDC as the main agency handling epidemics, while Fort Detrick, the military’s premier center for infectious diseases, rarely gets mentioned. It might be due to the CDC's broader recognition, but including Fort Detrick could add a more militaristic angle to pandemic stories. Thanks for the thought - it’s intriguing to consider how that could impact the realism of these films!
@lianneburwell47636 сағат бұрын
You make Contagion sound like a troller when it’s really a carefull story about an infection and the work to quarantine (much like the first months of Covid), and the CDC’s hunt for a vaccine. An excellent movie, but not a thriller.
@bestmovies-wg1rqСағат бұрын
You’re right, Contagion is more of a thoughtful, realistic take on a pandemic than a typical thriller. It carefully depicts the process of quarantine and the hunt for a vaccine, which did mirror the early months of Covid. An excellent movie that focuses on facts and a detailed portrayal of the situation. Thanks for the comment - it’s always good to clarify the distinction!

The 2020 "The Stand" is a fail. It was a waste to make it. The 1994 epic miniseries remains the best.
@bestmovies-wg1rqСағат бұрын
I get it - the 2020 version really doesn’t live up to the 1994 miniseries. The original had a unique atmosphere and captured the spirit of the book so much better. Sometimes, remakes just don’t hit the mark.

I understand not everyone is a fan of AI, but I’d like to clarify that the channel isn’t run by AI - only the narrator is AI-based. Everything else is my own work. All the selections, opinions, and editing come from my passion for cinema and my desire to share it with others. Thanks for the honest comment, and I hope this clears things up!

Oddly enough when I look at the one called Sweet tooth I somehow have a feeling that if you were to take that road down to its natural conclusion, you’ll probably have nature again to be called upon to genocide the animal human hybrids, and going back to maybe human or some other mutationto get rid of the hybrids when you look at the overall storyline might go down that road if you wanted to there though things changed
@bestmovies-wg1rq20 сағат бұрын
I get what you’re saying - Sweet Tooth definitely has a bit of an unsettling feel when you think about where the storyline could go. The story could indeed head into darker territory, with humanity trying to 'restore balance' to nature. The shifting relationships between humans and hybrids open up a lot of possibilities for the future - even some less optimistic ones. It would be interesting to see how the creators choose to develop this aspect!

Yes, Fear the walking Dead, season 1 was the best ever “fall of civilisation “ - that scenes as the lights go out in LA as they are on the freeway was well done. Fallout opening topped it though. I’d forgotten about Revolution- I loved this and wanted right to the end of the last show. Falling skies, another fantastic series. USA does good post apocalypse TV. Somehow I’ve never seen Station 11, must track this one down, great list thanks
