Summary of my comment: I’m curious what the average IQ is specifically to this genre of music. Based on culture, topics, interests, and unique values and knowledge from viewers and the complex minds of producers of this genre of music, I’m fairly confident this sub genre of house music contains the highest IQ averages of listeners. It’s a niche genre of house which is already a debatable genre placed into a niche 3 very similar sub genres of psychedelic/melodic/deep house, already 3 more very niche sub genres of this music style. (These sub genres promote the lack of vocals and praise more complex, ambient sounds and unique rythms, using more unique percussive sounds, and more complex moogs). It’s just very interesting to me, it’s a genre which touches all the points and reasons when it comes to wanting to listen to music. It’s very soothing, easily too understand even with complexion, you feel the purity and character unlike any other genre, it calms the over complexions of over thinker. There should be a study on IQ compared to musical taste, I’m fairly confident this would be in a 120IQ for the average listener, maybe classical takes the reign but idk, there’s a lot of idiots I know that play classical lol
