Stewart's line of questioning utterly idiotic. Ayrton was a consummate racer and epitomised what racing should be about. No respect for Stewart.... he sold out years ago....embarrassing really. Ayrton should have asked him ho many times he (Ayrton) was taken to task by stewards for the indiscretions alleged by Stewart....JS sold out commercially and is all about money

such a shame that this man is no longer here. I love his fighting spirit and driving skills. this man knew how to get everything out of a car. It seems as if Max has come to terms with the fact that he cannot go any faster lately. Senna would not accept this.

He’s good. But overrated. He lacks the temperament to drive one of these machines imo. Jackie is correct here.

That's the mindset every F1 driver has to have, because otherwise you don't even make to F1. Jackie Stewart just told him politely, that he causes more collisions than everyone else and implied that Senna is succesful not because he is the best driver but because he ist the most reckless driver, which is true. Senna is well spoken of because he is dead and there is no shittalking about the dead.

I would say that I agree with munger here. The cost of loans is very meaningful. The interest rate tells you how much it costs to borrow it. Hence "cost of (borrowing) capital". However the modern theory teaches that the "cost of capital" for the equity portion is measured by the returns on the equity. But as munger says, what is this "cost"? The equity is not costing anything in the way loans are..

So ill. I still remember watching this Sitting in disbelief That the Yankees were finally going down I was so tired of Yankees fans Fans can make you really dislike a team Reds are My favorite team but I’ve always liked The Yanks Until they went on that run from the late 90’s and then their fans become they most annoying people on earth. Red Sox started to follow suit after 15 years of MLB & NFL Winning but they kind of checked themselves a bit and were nowhere near as bad for the last 5 years of that 2 decades of greatness

After putting in the work, knowing the game he has no other thoughts in his mind, it’s crystal clear as an ambassador of the sport. If there’s a gap he’s taking it and in his case at all costs. After all it’s competition racing with money involved. Male valour is a trait that needs to return. RIP the Goat.

In other words , IF YOU SEE A "GAP" , GO FOR IT NO MATTER THE CARNAGE OF HUMAN BODIES OR DESTROYED CARS THAT YOU WILL CAUSE. This is what this maniac BELIEVED because he thought it was his right to win every race at all costs. Some people see a champion in Ayrton Senna. I see a mentally disturbed man with with a sadistic desire to put his competitors' lives at risk because they dared to prevent him from standing in the top spot of first place on the podium.

Sure, I may not be the fastest, i may not be the cleanest, I do not have an A class license... they say there was no gap.. but I still have my dignity as a sim racer. Go for the gap.

Although Senna would later go on to admit it was a lie, it's nevertheless a fascinating interview and if you read between the lines, there still potentially lies an equally fascinating and philosophical debate in there, because it begs the question: How deep does the will to win *really* go?

Cost of capital. Isn`t that the same thing as the discount rate? I have a $90.91 today which at 10% interest is worth $100 in a year assuming zero inflation. Put another way $100 payable a year from now has a present value (PV) of $90.91 given a discount rate of 10%. Lower the discount rate by half and the PV becomes $95.24. I`m reminded that the validity of the CAPM is 7%. 93% of the time it is wrong.
