Honestly, I wouldn't classify it as indie either, because like you pointed out, being a subsidiary of a big company or even being backed by it already makes it not indie. Dave the Diver being indie would make as much sense as Death Stranding being indie. Hi, you did miss Summerhouse. Its very similar to Lakeside with the difference that you place buildings and eventually they spawn with certain changes. You can detail the fronts of the buildings and add vegetation and terrain. Its a nice experience.

Takes away my immersion. Hard pass for me. It's going to be boring anyways, like every other ubisoft game for past 5 years. Same mechanics and same gameplay as already seen in 5 other franchises and same grind till game finishes techniques. So I am glad they didn't use real samurai, and used a fake black samurai.

Everything about this game is ok except the price, man its 70 USD for the standard edition. Also, I'm waiting to see the gameplay because the biggest comparisons everyone will make is with Ghost of Tshushima. Whatever Ubisoft devs said about the gameplay in recent interviews up until now looks good, and if all are exactly what they say then this game might be a good one. As for Black man in Japan, who gives a flying fcuk until the gameplay and visuals are good.
