I still do not agree with the after death abilities, for clove here she is said to be immortal hence it makes sense but it would be absurd to give duelists after death abilities, however i agree with the point where they must be given better mobility.

Yoru is fine. Just some retrieving clones and tps would be good. neon just needs to be faster and have more utility to compensate for what she needs to use. Maybe give her a passive speed thing and than a mid gear and then high gear with two slides going Jett dash speed. The faster she goes consuming more energy. Also 2 walls. Reyna dismiss could be invis by default so that you could play for kills and get on site without them knowing. Other than that she really needs a fundamental rework. Iso could be interesting with his contingency. If he could stop it, he had two of them, and they were a bit wider, he would be insane. He could just wall off any angles from being shot, get on site, and when the shields run out (they would have a very short duration of like 2-5 seconds after being stopped) the enemies have no idea where he is playing so they have to look for him. BAM opening for team mates. and Phoenix. He needs a better Molly and better wall. If he could be this super hybrid character he would have a niche and allow other agents to be worked around since he can cover 3/4 roles you need if his utility becomes impactful. Raze also needs a nerf. She is like 10x better than Jett. I think she needs 1 satchel that recharges on kills. That’s how stupid raze is. Jett is fine. She needs her old 3 smokes and double updraft to be picked over raze. She is good yes but she isn’t fun anymore.

Its simple. The reason jett and raze are only S tier duelists, is because RIOT when launched valorant had a vision and design of the game. It was a FPS with gunplay and movement based on CS 1.6, while having abilities like overwatch to help accomplish: - creating space - denying space - secure kills or put you at advantage that was t he initial RIOT's vision for the game and thats how it was advertised, you can look it up online if you dont believe me. Later on, they always start catering to casuals and noobs who have shit movement and aim, so even those players can score a kill every few rounds. Thats why most agents have a kit of smoke, flash, slow, stun, etc but Raze can wipe out 2-3 people with a grenade and all 5 people with her ult, Jett can updraft and get few kills with her knives. Its bullshit and those 2 agents should either NOT be in the game or other duelists buffed to the same level of Jett/Raze

What I wonder is, even tho the other duelists aren't as good as taking up space as Jett/Raze, surely they're good at something else, almost like a pseudo-initiator, right? Like Phoenix for example. No mobility in his kit, but still has some great tools for himself, and for the team. Reyna is the 1v1 goddess your momma warned you about, surely she's got some usefulness. And Iso, given his ultimate ability that allows him to "isolate" a target, has got to have some level of value just on its own. Even if his sole purpose is to stall the top priority target on the enemy team and then take a 50/50, that's still gotta be worth something right?

You hit the nail on the head for the most part. What I just really don't get is why neon's so bad (gameplay-wise) at the thing that she CANONICALLY EXCELS AT. What the Riot devs intended for her was to be the 'most mobile agent in the game'. I get that Neon is the only duelist who has persistent mobility throughout a round; HOWEVER, if her design is built around SPEED and PACE, what's the point of that? Especially in a fast-paced game like valorant where ttk is very very short... an agent like neon seems counterintuitive. Personally, I'd take a Neon that has no stuns and wall but has better entry capacity than Jett/Raze, over a neon who has all the tools in her kit but cant follow up on those because of lack of speed in taking space.

Every game will always have pro play meta picks... And honestly the community should not give a fuck at all... So the top 0.01% of players pick only Jett and Raze... So what... That doesn't affect 99.99% of players worldwide... Stop making the meta a big deal... It's not... Play games for fun and stop acting like it's a job...

I can confirm that I will never get past bronze because of all the trolls, smurfs, and hackers.

Maybe they can cycle agents so you can’t play some agents allowing other agents to shine by removing counters/ superior options. This allows the meta to constantly shift and can be interesting.
