I thought one of the demons said "Papa's chicken is the shiznit." But he actually said "Popeye's chicken is the shiznit." It sounded like he said "Papa's chicken."

The lyrics, the layering, the drums in the beginning like thunder…this song sounds like a rainstorm after you’ve first fallen in love 0:48

She really made the song hers, for me it just hits different than the og one. This one sounds way more melancholic and tired of feeling socially maladjusted but somehow still craving in a little hope the need of being "conventional". Comfort cover ngl. Thanks for sharing this.

Primorosidad de versión una voz quejosa y suave, que llega al corazón, al lado de un pianismo sutil y sorprendente. Bravo 👏🏻

Last album is unlistenable (no, I'm in fact into experimental music so don't start with BS)... She ought make a jazz standards album, then we could die Happy.

@Littleneddygtw true, but she is different, and better than "where people usually go", sadly her last album was so dissapointing for me. Idler Wheel and the previous Album are experimental albums, like Bolt is. But Bolt is simply inferior musically talking, I'm so tired of discussing this with "die-hard" fans when in fact most of them didn't knew Fiona till the last album and I've listening her for years and years. She IS a jazz (indie rock) singer but she may not want to take that path, for whatever reasons. In my opinion doing that standards album would pave her final road to Glory, because she is not worse than Ella Fitzgerald or worse than Holliday... She is that good. But she doesn't take her seriously enough or jazz seriously enough.
