Thanks. So many people have lived in England their whole lives and take it for granted without actually realising how beautiful and historic some of the places are that are right under their nose or literally on their own doorsteps if they only took time to take notice.

Yeah it’s pricey to take the lift up any ski resort. It costs a lot to have them built though too. For $85 you would have provided us with some great views that would have potentially built your channel as well. It’s all a matter of what is important and what these things are worth to you.

Are you DJing or doing another job on the ship? My guess it will be a little different for you as I'm guessing a fast turnaround when you're in port and many sea days. How long is your contract? Take care, have fun - Tom

at 6:28 those wall ruins on the left of the bench are remains of dacian (possibly roman?) fortifications, the whole camping site was a fortification built in between the big rocks, it's kind of ignored by the locals for some reasons, some parts of it might still be buried, im kinda fighting with the local gov to get the ruins some proper care and research 17:26 im walking down that exact street every day, thinking the exact same thing, such a beautiful city polluted by cars, roads, and talk about new roads on pedestrian areas (like 19:46/33:13 they wanted to transform that whole walkway into a road, possibly causing irreparable damage to the medieval wall and just messing up the natural area, and the mayor who proposed the idea is back in office, so im real worried) , i hope that the future generations will come to their senses, not having such a car-centric mentality, making this beautiful city for people again, not cars. it would probably be one of the/if not the most beautiful cities in eastern europe, i can only hope :( but whenever you bring up any subject related to cars they go rabid on you :))), they love their 4 wheeled rustboxes more than anytthing 34:25 big ahh church haha, you didn't miss out on anything, the outside (gothic style) is a lot cooler than the inside(that suffered fire damage and was rebuilt in a VERY SIMPLISTIC baroque style)

We're back from our 53-day Alaska, Japan, and Hawaii cruise and just getting caught up. Enjoyed all that I have had a chance to watch but this one was the best, keep up the good work! The waves in the pool reminded me of that time you talked me into building a ship that sank before even touching the water, ha ha. Where are you sailing to next?

As someone who lives here i can only say the only beautiful places are the 3 centers. Piata Libertatii Piata Victoriei [Where the Theater and Church is] Piata Unirii. If you go beyond the church or in any other direction beyond those 3 places, you'l see a lot of worn down buildings with a small few being restored but many still remain with no work done on them for decades.

I still come back to this video every now and then. Having moved to Ruse, it sure was a bit of getting used to, to see so many stray cats in every street. Some in better condition than others. I feed the ones near my apartment. It's all I can do at this time. But I'm so sad to see that some cats have gone missing... Thank you, again, for helping Earina.

Pfffff, man, I've spent one month in Timisoara and it is a terribly dreadful place. What you are showing is the small historical center that you can see in one morning (and then leave). That centre has some nice facades, but it is only two huge empty esplanades, packed with very impersonal (and expensive) touristic terraces. All the rest, the real Timisoara is a huge and very sordid industrial-soviet village with nothing expect greyness. One thing that surprised me is the ridiculous pretentiousness of many places (and people) in that historical part, as if they think they are in a very trendy area of central London. Seriously..... much arrogance in the service, and people are way very rude and harsh compared with the rest of Romania. I would say it is more like a village of Serbia, rather than a city of Romania. This title of "European City of Culture" for 2023 is just so ridiculous, and perhaps that made this place so pretentious. The atmosphere here has absolutely nothing to do with culture. The only thing, perhaps, is that as the two squares are big and empty they can set an stage sometimes and organise musical events, but they are more entertainment than culture. The fact that they named this "city" a cultural capital shows you how much corruption there is here (and in the EU), because I cannot understand it, unless someone paid to someone to give Timisoara such title. I'm writing all this because it is precisely all the amount of youtubers that talk about Timisoara what made me come, and I can say they give a terribly deluded vision of what this place is.
