Wow. This was videoed 7 years ago. Laurel hasn't changed a bit. Except that now most of her work is very small. I truly am a fan of HER LARGE art pieces. I hope she goes back to that. She mentioned in her ArtBasel show that she was going to do a certain piece in a large format. I look forward to that. Love you Laurel. Linda

I did not choose misanthropy, misanthropy was frosted upon me. Or am I misunderstanding this? Is it still impossible for three or more lines to conjoin to the same node, but they get around this by making it so that two lines can just share identical data? Because that would be incredibly stupid!!! Just make it so that nodes can have more than two lights connected to them!!! Geogebra can handle this just fine, so why can't it just be standard in vector file formats!!!!!!!!!

Oh and learning something new every time I use it...your polar vortex example...see something new again!

Watching you explain how you developed this program was the highlight of my year! Going to show this to my students.

I use this everyday. Started using the pollution sulfur dioxide and the latitude/longitude. Then plug it into Google Earth and play lets find the open pit mine or the coal burning powerplant. Started having my students do this to look for global polluters. Last year it was smoky in Rochester, MN so I had a hypothesis that there must be a Canadian Wildfire and southerly winds...boom. Using Earth nullschool I was able to find the wildfire and watch the smoke plume.
