What the helll happened they arrived early this should not have hapened at al There was several Fire fighters there before that big fire broke out what the hell Happened

We don’t get a 360 view, but appears to be just garage. I agree to attack from outside. When they opened first garage door, there was no conversion of black smoke to white smoke. Fire was in other side. Good comparison of cutting garage door open. One guy doing the V cut, other did vertical. On second door, 2 vertical cuts and door is out. When 2nd line was waiting to be charged, we all assume the engineer is standing at the panel. My guess is he is making a hydrant connection. 2nd engine should have been helping with that. And if you do go in front door, secure that screen door. Chock it or remove it. Be interested to see damage to inside of house if they did open the man door to garage.

If I were an insurance company, I would triple homeowners insurance based on how unprepared this fire department is. You open the garage door with at least a fog stream, then a straight line once you locate the fire. Do you need to vent the roof? I guess they saved the brick facade.

Most of those commented here are either not firefighters (which means they need to STFU) or inexperienced FF. The main thing I saw was Edwards cutting that entire garage door down. That was asinine for a red helmet. Seat of fire isn’t always easy to find. And the TIC will only do so much. But don’t open anything up until you know where that fire is. He fed more oxygen to that fire than water.

Thank goodness the firefighters in my city jump into action a know what they're doing. When my next-door-neighbor's house caught on fire, they arrived very fast and kept the fire to just one room. The fire did spread to the attic above the room but that's as far as it got. The fire crew didn't need to make us evacuate our house next door - that's because they had the fire under control and out very quickly. If the slow and unprofessional firefighters in THIS video responded to my neighbor's house fire, his house and MY house would been totally destroyed.

My niece and her husband live in a newer home. It was struck by lightning. Caused a fire between the roof and ceiling. It went through the electrical system and ruined some but not all of their appliances. They heard the sound and felt the lightening hit. But at first did not realize it had actually hit their house. They both very young. It only took them about five minutes to realize their home had been hit by lightning, and they smelled smoke. But it took them a full fifteen to twenty minutes to understand their house was on fire , and then they called 911. And evacuated their animals and went outside. Very rapid fire department response. They broke a hole into the roof and were able to get the fire out pretty rapidly. Later they found a hole where the lightening hit the floor of upstairs spare bedroom, went through downstairs into living room and put a hole into the carpet. Right now they are living in a small travel trailer. They are supposed to be able to move back in their home by end of December. This happened in August. A real blessing no one was hurt and that the fire department reacted so quickly that their home was saved. They are building a new roof and support structure, ceiling in the one bedroom. And carpets that were water damaged and some smoke damage. They did an excellent job.

Y'all looked like a road crew. You have 4 watching one holding a hose with no water and when you get water you have no pressure. So much damage could have been avoided. Another thing I noticed is they were still putting on their gloves and equipment getting ready. Hell you should have been ready before you got out of the truck. Well I hope you never come to my house I'll just grab a water hose and do it myself before I call fire watchers.
