My experience as a PM has primarily been software not infrastructure. I’ve however been called in to interview for infrastructure PM. I’ll only have projects for software as examples. Will that be ok? I used PMI phases in my projects. Thanks

It depends on the requirements, will have to go through job description to tell further. If it's infrastructure PM role you can always demonstrate the infra side of your SW that is being delivered. For instance you can talk about how you procured infra environment, what was the sizing for your SW to be deployed, what was the I/O and processing involved etc. that will throw some light on the infra side of the SW. Project management in principle would still remain the same.

Kanban Certifications might give you knowledge but none of the certifications will guarantee the job. It's better you demonstrate knowledge with working experience of implementing kanban

For Infrastructure Project Management - You can take up any Comptia N+ or Basic Cloud certification to gain understanding about Infrastructure landscape and PMP for project management

According to me AI can never replace a project manager, because there is a difference between science and art, and according to what i have noticed through Chatgpt is the help which i get in drafting mails and that also sometimes I find it not right and will have to trim it further.
