The new dude that played Superman and Clark Kent, Brandon Routh, I think that's his name....he did the characters justice. The crashing Airplane scene....the bad robbers on the roof scene....and the Lex Luther using the Kryptonite stone to cause a massive earthquake all over and Superman has to come In clutch and save the day again. @@christianlennon714 Thanks for sharing and the view! I personally enjoy Man of Steel, but a big reason being I defend it as he is NOT Superman yet, he’s learning. That said I totally get people’s dislike of it. It was something personal to Snyder and he made what he wanted to, James Gunn on the other hand I feel like is approaching the tale in a more embracing and universal way. He wants the world to embrace Superman. It definitely looks like he’s on the right track. Krypto!!!!!

@SonOfCrom-193218 күн бұрын
To be honest with you brother; I don't really watch random review channels; but, like thousands upon thousands of people.... I am glued to Superman Movie reaction videos. I just turned 60; and I could lie and say I grew up a Supes fan, but I did not. As a little boy addicted to buying comics books starting around 1969; I wouldn't be caught dead with any comic that wasn't a Marvel comic. If I bought anything else, I was sure to get bullied and made fun of at school. All little boys bought comics (it seems) in my little mid-western town; but everyone loved Spider-Man, Fantastic Four, Hulk, and the Avengers (the X-Men still sucked back then lol). _Some of us_ would admit to buying or at least reading a Batman Comic once in a while, but if any kid said he read or bought a Superman comic, he would be made fun of all day; and called bad names that I cannot repeat on KZbin. I was one of those kids (I admit sadly), that made fun of those kids as well. Those kids all had short hair (while myself and the _Cool Kids_ had long hair like Robert Plant, etc.), and considered ourselves the cool kids. One day though, I did go on a long trip with my family, in another family's RV. Their older son had a stack of comics in the RV and let me read them. To my dismay, they were all DC comics. It was during that 10 day trip though, that my 9 year old mind memorized the Green Lantern mantra; and that started to enjoy even obscure characters like the Red Tornando in the JLA; and others. Lastly; that is when I began my secret love for.... Superboy! There were no Superman comics on the trip, but there were over 10 Superboy comics. It was during that time; that I became a *Secret Superboy fan!* Years later, even though I didn't buy Superman comics, I still would secretly buy (and hide) a Superboy comic from time to time. Then, around my 11th or 12th birthday I saw an ad for a "Superman" movie coming out. I begged and begged my dad to see it! I had never seen any live action Superhero "movies", unless you count the campy Batman one. He refused my request time and time again (he thought comics rotted the mind); and I distinctly remember telling him; "But dad, you will believe a man can fly!" LOL He finally gave in. I was so happy to be going to my first movie with my dad; and even more special that it was Superman. Flash forward to present day, around 50 years later. I still mostly collect my childhood favorites from Marvel (that I mentioned earlier); but I also collect Conan paperbacks, old pulp books, and even Batman. But I still secretly collect Superboy comics, and my 30 year old daughter loves Superboy as well (I think Tom from Smalleville had a big part in that). LOL I am telling you all this because *I was YOU watching that trailer!* I had the lump in my throat, I had the tears in my eyes, I felt my heart swell! I am with you... if I only had the trailer, and the movie never came out; I may still die happy! It was amazing! I felt the joy, and more importantly; I felt hope like the little boy raising the flag. Superman does amazing things and 100% brings Hope to us all (and as a man with a newly minted 21K views on one video, I am sure you will agree with me)! We will never meet; and never speak again maybe. But for one moment, we were locked in that moment together. No one will bear witness to mine; but I will never forget how I felt and how unashamed I was at shedding tears. Bless you brother; may this movie be everything or even half, of what we hope it will be. Have a safe and wonderful New Years. Remember, as a teacher and a mentor for our young minds, and future leaders... *you, are the true superhero!* PS - This trailer has also given me the courage to do a video in the near future about my "secret Superboy" collection. I am sure, no one will make fun of me now. 😉

This trailer is not only visually stunning but also emotionally moving...no need to apologize for shedding a tear (I did too as a 6'5" 44 yr. old man). No matter what the movie itself ends up being, this trailer nailed the emotional aspects of Superman. The love between Clark/Superman and Lois, the hope he inspires (kid with the flag and the chants), how much he loves his parents, his determination to do good, and even the love that Krypto the Superdog has for his master (as seen in DC Comics and the Superpets movie) were all there. Hell they even threw in nods to the original Superman movie with the music and his suit! Good job so far James Gunn 👍🏾!

I was so excited and full of hope and amazement. I remember crying and clapping through the entire movie. And then ran it back and watched it again. When i watched this trailer the first time, i sat down and cried. I felt the same feeling i had when i was that 7-year-old kid. Sitting cross-legged in front of the television, wide-eyed and full of wonder. Nostalgia sometimes hurts. Not this time. James Gunn has made me have hope again. I'm excited about this.
