I am pretty much in agreeance with everything you're saying. But in the context of a full collection. I think that Take That is a very good card for Valkyrie, even without the full suite of three. The other Iceman cards, I think depend on the scenario and may be one or two ofs. But they're not as close to being a staple as Take That.

I just started to watch your videos on this game because I wanted to see if it’s something I wanted to get into. I have to say you do such an amazing job giving great information and you do an amazing job teaching!

I would like Quake or Mockingbird be second silhouette, but Black Cat or Morbius are good hero ideas for later. My prediction about deck building with any SHIELD aspect might actually be Maria over Nick now. Would be cool to see if Leadership aspect creates a new premise of assisting in support cards, like readying and adding tokens.

I think the mystery one is Quake, Mockingbird, or Black Cat. It may be a one off cycle but the comic may lead into an Inhuman wave which they might wait and put Quake in there too.

They could link this scenario box with the next one by having the last villain be mind controlled by Black Bolt’s brother Maximus which would lead to an inhuman box. Or the last villain turns out be a Skrull which could lead to a Secret Invasion box.

Mini clue in campaing. Solo seems manageable but coop campaing seems a lot to take track. U are right with bucky and sam, last one looks like making one hand pushup, a 1 hand character thing to do.

I understand that the pre-cons are meant to be weak, in general, but I prefer to use them, even though I have all the cards so far. It's actually a challenge sometimes to win, but that is what I like as well. I tend to play with 2 heroes so that I can at least try to fix some weaknesses like that (and honestly this game is not balanced for true solo). Honestly I am kinda tired of seeing in every deck Nick Fury and Mockingbird. At least I am using all the cards I own, instead of always the same 😅

Yikes.... Had to break out the rule book on this one. Nothing like protection to make you question everything about timing windows and effect resolution order. I believe the proper timing of Tiger Shark at 42mins should have been: 1) Riposte Interrupts when Bamf allows you to defend. It adds +2 Def and then creates a Delayed Effect to damage Tiger Shark if you take no damage from the attack later. 2) You take no damage from the attack, as a Delayed Effect, the damage from Riposte has the same timing as constant effects, and takes place before any responses to this new trigger can occur. You hit Tiger Shark for 3 damage. 3) The attack resolves. Tiger Shark's Forced Response occurs before normal Responses. He gets a Tough. 4) Normal Response of Under Control fires (but stays in play! ?!), knocking off the Tough. In addition, according to page 9 of 1.6 Rules Ref, Retaliate would happen between 2 and 3. Which unfortunately means that Tiger Shark puts his Tough on AFTER you retaliate his current Tough off. Which means when he attacked at 46:45, he would end with a Tough. =( But it also means that you could use Retaliate and Under Control together to hit an Tough Armored Guard off the table. =) For even more fun, since Electrostatic Armor isn't actually Retaliate, it would happen at Step 4. Simple right? Flow Like Water references the bold DEFENSE, and bold font means the trait. And since Bamf doesn't have the bold defense trait, it doesn't count. So far, there are no cards with the Defense trait that aren't events. If you get Port Away and still have a Bamf in deck (which is easy with Mutant Education), it's pretty nice. You grab a Bamf in hero, turn down, heal, (draw a card from Chapel), use AE action to grab a Bamf, discard a Bamf and Port Away back to Hero and ready up, (draw a card from Moira). All told, you discard a Bamf and Port Away, and you heal, draw a Bamf, and potentially draw two more cards with a reasonable Support setup. Even if you don't have Support card draw, you can essentially think of Port Away as "discard this card to gain REC" as long as there's still a Bamf in your deck to draw with the AE ability. Plus it give you access to all the awesome AE mutant stuff. X-mansion, Weapon X, Mutant Education, X-men Instruction. Being able to pop down to AE and then come right back allows a ton of fun combos. And if you want to Teleport Drop a lot, Mutant Education is your friend. X-men stuff is so good. On other topics, Nightcrawler's Nemesis is pretty brutal, especially if he comes out as a boost with Standard III. That was too long, sorry. I'm just excited. Thanks for another great stream!

Nightcrawler really doesn’t need Endurance. If you’re playing protection, you can have Angel Eerie (you defend so many time) and with your 1 per deck pass free flip card. You can automatically heal to full. Nightcrawler problem is too many cards depend on bamf (which is great) and if you put it on a minion to do damage and they die - that is a loss bamf. In protection, flipping feels so bad because you have more handsize but all of them are defend card

Totally agree on the new Protection card come get me bub. I love protection so believe me I’m not complaining, but wow that card is fire! Going to be a staple for sure

Another way to have fun is to GO CRAZY. I played with my 9 y-o son a Deadpool (Pool) + Wolverine (Aggression) vs. Mojo Campaign after the movie, and we had so much excitement we change the entire MC game approach - strong but risky and thematic decks vs. single scenarios with a lot of module changes. I run a little story, we play with favorite heroes, we lose or win, it doesn't matter. Then we go back to real campaigns and good decks, and construct ideal combination for new players. Yes, don't be afraid, MC is a very rich game system.
