Trying to figure out what you're getting is a mess on mess on all platforms, but I believe the code our reviewer got was for the World of Assassination "Deluxe Edition" which is Hitman 1 GOTY, 2 with DLC, and 3 with DLC. The standard version is Hitman 1 GOTY + 2 and 3 without DLC. The World of Assassination: Part 1 is just Hitman 1 GOTY (albeit all with the updated engine improvements/visuals)

Can you disable the NOTR expansion? I've heard the increased LP requirements is rough for newcomers

Unfortunately, the expansion is integrated into this release with no way to disable it. If you're going into this from the first game, I wouldn't say it's that much harder, but it's harder to power-level like you could in the original.

My good review and coverage I appreciate it. A friend recommended mists beyond the mountains to me because I had previously play Xuan Yuan Sword 7 and really enjoyed it. ( it also helps that I can comprehend and speak a bit of mandarin) as the translations in sword 7 while good were definitely not complaining accurate. It's possible something went wrong in a post-launch patch (sadly there seems to be little communication on the Steam forums since launch). I didn't experience any hard crashes on the Switch with a dozen hours of play during the review period.

Absolutely. Even if the gameplay can sometimes be annoying with the classic point-and-click puzzles, all four games in the series (and Amerzone before them) have such beautiful and creative designs.

Appreciate all the detail in various aspects. The character designs and some other elements are kind of keeping me at bay but the combat and environments have me interested.

So do I have to craft to progress in this game? Crafting is the one thing I never partake in, in any game. I think I’ve only done a tiny bit in world of Warcraft and only when it’s a forced side or primary quest in other games. But if it’s something I repeatedly have to do to progress, I’m good on playing. I don’t find looting to that extent fun by any means. But I’ve seen several review comments going on about there being to much stuff to collect and craft but no one has mentioned if you truly have to do all that or not. Some games allow you to scoot by not crafting and other don’t, which one is this game?

Hey chuckyluvsu13, sifting through a few cheat sites and threads, it seems the old cheats work on the PC version of the remaster, but not for the consoles. Standard achievements/trophies seem to be the only unlockable content.

If you liked the first Hitman 2016, you’ll also like the other two. The replay value is excellent and this format and gameplay style is the best Hitman has ever been.

We were given the Founders Pack for review. I think the free option only provides access to 4-5 dinosaurs, limited skill progression, and limited questline progression.

@@gameblur I played the free trial and played for an hour and had access to like 4 Dino’s, but if I buy this founders pack, will I have an hour long timer before it expires and do I have access to every dinosaur?

@@captainharpy2908 From Adam who did the preview - The Founders Pack is essentially the base version of the game and there's no time limit on it like the demo. Also console owners get some extra stuff in the Founders Pack versus the pc version.

I hate the ",wheel's everyone uses for games now. It's so annoying. Give us a 4 menu with the analog stick and be done with it. Looks like absolute garbage

Please help me please.. After finding the files that the prisoner requested and returning to his room, I do not find the option “These are the files,” and therefore I cannot complete the game and find the pass card in safe 142 in the locker room in the game Kona 2.

It's been a while, so the only thing I can think of is that the ghost wanted two files and I think they were separate collectibles? Are you certain you grabbed both from the archive room (there are three files you can look at, 2 were essential and one optional)?

M2 did the port abd they do a lot of ports for games like this but they actually just ported over the arcade version exactly which is what the PS1 version was. It comes with everything including the framedrops lol but I read the games engine had issues with too much on screen while maintaining the 3D backgrounds etc at certain spots. I remember owning this on PS1 it was worth a lot to a collector as i sold my copy for like £140 years ago. But it's a great game right now its on sale on PSN for £10 as of 18.07.24 for cetain period of time

Voiced reading? To the best of my knowledge, there's English voice acting and subtitles in several languages, but no additional accessibility features like text-to-voice.

I saw someone playing this on Twitch a couple days ago and I legitimately thought this was Shovel Knight at first glance. But this looks like an amazing Metroidvania game. Might be next on my list of pickups. =)

Hi roguewisper, our writer who played this can't remember the exact settings. Are you playing on the latest 1.05 patch that added English voice acting? Could it be that it now sets the subtitles to the same language selection (English VO with English subs, Japanese VO with Japanese subs?)

It can feel that way, especially in the opening mansion chapter if you miss a clue or key. The subsequent chapters still feel too big and empty but at least it's more obvious where you need to go.
