My ladies bible study is going to do a study of the book of Esther and we were asked to listen and read the book of Esther and watch studies on the book of Esther to prepare us before we start our study. So far I am learning more about the book of Esther in all of the different translations . ❤ God is never mentioned in this book but you can see God working in the life of Esther in this book . In our lives we miss times that God is working in our lives because we do things our way and not God’s way. Putting God first and not on the back burner as Christians our lives will be different. Setting aside our pride and selfishness it’s amazing how we can see the Lord working in our lives. ❤

I'm not trying to be funny, but Aaron and his sons must have been a little heavy...... 😂. The old testament is scary to me. Like if you burn the offering wrong regulations in any tiny mistake, death to you. Scary.

The bible is a book mostly written by men who never even met the people they wrote about (many years after). It is also heavily edited and censored by a church that had a power and politics agenda, eliminating around 14 books (the Apocrypha). In addition, there isn't just one Christian bible - there are at least three with different numbers of chapters. There exists no provable, fact-based evidence to support any of the supernatural (spiritual) events in it. Thus, it is pure human belief - a human emotion and dependent on as many human thoughts as there are humans. To believe without factual evidence is like saying a court case should be determined by only hearsay or a feeling. It's hard to think God wouldn't hold humans to a standard that they hold themselves.

If this was inspired by the Spirit of God, would you be satisfied. Is there a 10% chance you are mistaken? If so, how would you explain yourself to the Lord when He greets you? Only you need to think on these things since each one of us will be held accountable for our words.

@@proverbs3150 "If this was inspired by the Spirit of God, would you be satisfied. " I would be satisfied if you could prove it was inspired that way. (no bible can be involved, by the way) "Is there a 10% chance you are mistaken?" If you could prove with fact-based evidence to support any of the supernatural (spiritual) events in the bible I would gladly announce that I'm 100% wrong. "how would you explain yourself to the Lord when He greets you? " Since God is All-knowing, I wouldn't have to explain myself to Him -- He already knows everything. "Only you need to think on these things since each one of us will be held accountable for our words." The only problem I've run into is that believers don't use their own words. By and large they just spout biblical rote quotes. So how impressed do you think God will be with all of you stealing His words?

Maundy Thursday is a solemn day observed by Christians worldwide, which holds great significance in the Christian calendar, particularly during Holy Week.
