Pastor, when you are being attacked by your beliefs, and mentally and morally struggle with your life everyday, you have to come at us with understanding. The time has passed to preach, the time is to teach and understand what it means to be parent to a group of children yearning to listen and understand what the world is going to do to them. Never hate the man who quits, hate the the things that made him quit, question and fight the morals of the actions that caused him to give up. Scream at every rooftop that he could have been saved by jesus but had cut himself off ultimately from the rest of the world. Before that happens, be there for the man goung through a battle you have never seen, tell him he has a brother who will go through the mud to make sure he doesnt give in to the pressure before he turns into a diamond. Ive stopped going to church for these reasons. Pastors across the nation yell at someone like a father with a belt, saying if you dont listen you will be disowned. Brother you are the words of love from 2000 years ago. I am a christian, and i struggle with mental issues and disabilities every day. I yearn for acceptance of my love, and i love passionately with a fire from god, and not from satan. Tell your congregation to go out into the fields and look and believe in the beautiful artwork that god had made before they were even here. That this beauty was here before even man was created. Tell them that quitting would mean that this beautiful painting will go away, and that they have said this painting was not enough because of the horrors from different painters. You need to make them believe in the words and love of god. And that there was no bible before it was scribed. And give the sermon of asking yourself and the others how did men without being told or have a written history to guide them, how did they yearn and love after god and not of the pleasures of this world.
