I have found the agee 'improved' jars are hard to take the seals off, they are a fraction larger and dont leave any overhanging lid rim, if that makes sense!

A lot of people have been having problems with the perfit seals so I personally wouldn't go near them. The jars would be ok though. I personally don't use them. Tomatoes you will need to add some acidity to them. Waterbathing at a rolling boil for 40mins for pints and 45mins for quarts.
