Good episode and a great topic. Toxic behaviors aren't created by others. I feel those behaviors come from deep-seated traumas that manifest. At the end of the day, we all have choices. Choose to see who our partners are following, asking for or demanding passwords, etc. In all of my relationships, I have never wanted or asked for passwords or wanted to look at their phone and vice versa. To each their own, of course, but I feel that type of behavior can be very detrimental to a healthy relationship. Now, if a person gives you reasons for not trusting them, then that's different. But treating someone who did nothing with mistrust because of a former relationship is problematic. That aside, life is better without toxic people. 🙂

My first thought went back to you alls episode about old Mexican wives' tales and superstitions and how we all believed those but have a hard time believing in Reike and energies. 😂😂 It's just funny but not in a bad way.

I really appreciate that you brought on a male guest to get a man's perspective on the topic at hand. As we age, our needs, desires, and wants change. Or at least for me, they have. In our 20s and 30s, most men, when it comes to dating, are still operating with a one track mind. As we age, that all changes and for the better. When I was younger, I didn't put much thought into what came after the hookup. It was all about getting to that point, and whatever came next wasn't even an afterthought. These days, more thought is put into the "what next" because it matters. Feelings matter. For me, I am attracted to an independent woman who has a fun personality and wants to enjoy life, make memories, and live within the experience. And like your guest mentioned, being able to have a good conversation is super important. Yes, looks are also important. Chemistry is important. Having similar values, morals, and interests is important. All of those ingredients are a must in order to have a chance at a successful relationship. We all age so trying to fight it is honestly a losing fight. We can work out, get some botox, color our hair (if we have it lol) and get surgeries. Personally, the less surgical intervention, the better. A little doesn't hurt. Living a healthy lifestyle will go a long way after our looks fade. Anyhow, keep up the great work ladies.

AI is a starting point, BUT nothing beats the collective components of life experiences, whether that be through your footings through academia, workplace, family & friends. Moreover, original thoughts are unbeatable when we acknowledge that yes AI is here to stay, BUT we use AI ...AI shareholders don't use us through herd mentality & more.

Your podcast is engaging and entertaining.... constructive criticism: lean MORE into el lado latino (aka speaking Spanglish here & there). There is a need & niche for Spanglish podcast representation in the market. Plus, los gringos y mas entiende y apoyan that type of conversation ❤. Note: I did notice that you 3 of 4 of you guys did speak a little bit of Spanglish but try it out on a focus group or HERE & perhaps it could fly off the handles

As a creative person, I feel AI is and will continue to take away job opportunities from graphic designers, musicians, and other creative gig jobs. I understand that using AI allows for a quicker turnaround when time is of the essence, but please keep in mind that the RGV has a lot of very talented individuals who can do these things that you all touched on. We are all trying to make a living and make a name for ourselves. Let's not allow AI to rob us of that.

99% of everything you all mentioned is what I heard growing up from my parents, aunts, uncles, and grandparents. Except for the sweeping at night thing. Lol. As a kid, I believed wholeheartedly in all of it, but as I have gotten older, I pay little mind to a lot of it but hold on fondly to the memories and the stories.
