Sis I’ve been through something like that but the other driver hit me. It wasn’t my fault but bc I got a ticket for my insurance expired the same day of it . Bad luck. They suspended my licenses tell me I got to get sr22 which is a headache. The prices are ridiculously high and the insurance is ridiculously high I can’t with these insurance ppl for real.

Every state is different, but these days insurance companies usually require you to list everyone that’s of driving age in your household to be on the insurance to avoid situations like this. They used to easily let you exclude household members like he did

My son’s father had a suspended license due to a balance from a car accident. He ended up filing bankruptcy and starting over. He got his license back and his credit is great now.
