how can the gateway be full? you can connect TEN PW2's to the gateway...

You can see at 2:27 it's full so for the power we went back to the mains, the coms got connected to the gateway.

Thanks for this. I installed a battery extension, another 5kw, onto my system. Followed all the instructions. Everything's connected as it's supposed to. I have a fault light. Any advice on how to resolve it?

Hi, so whenever a new addon battery is installed you need to contact Alpha ESS support who will issue a software update/ ensure all the batteries are running the same software. You can try from your end to request a software update via the cloud portal. Hope this helps!

It's been averaging 6kWh per day since installation last week. Not bad considering the really low light conditions we've seen and the storm conditions. The customer has been using their battery to the fullest with the help of Octopus Energy!

@@Christopher12345xy It's been averaging 6kWh a day since installation (not bad considering the UK is thick in fog and darkness at the moment due to the season we're in). So this system is 5.1kW (430w panels x12 = 5.1kW) In summer this system could produce over 30kWh per day. The max this system can produce at anytime is 5kW as thats the maximum output from the inverter. Let's say it's working at 5kW for 6 hours then that would be 30kWh of generation. Hope this helps
